I enjoyed that, I hate that alcohol is accepted in society.
So much grief is caused by it.

It didn't exactly do any good when it was prohibited in the US. Just makes it more profitable for people who will risk getting caught, like any other illegal drug.

Alcohol isn't the problem, people's unwillingness to get help for their problems are and lack of self control is the problem.

The culture around it is the problem, it's glorified and made out to be something it's not on tv and among people
It's a highly addictive hard drug and anyone who is inebriated by it is not themselves

You can't ban anything but it should have the same social stigma as other hard drugs
As someone with 2 alcoholics in the family I cringe every time I see a beer commercial
It's disturbing to see them go through their withdrawals and how they behave when intoxicated.
My own mother grew up in a house where the step father routinely beat his wife

There are more victims to alcoholism than just the addict him/herself, she didn't have a lack of self control but it ruined her life for 20 years.

I can pretty much guarantee I'll be drinking just as much today after seeing that ad.

Made me more concerned about Sweden than what's in my glass.
