Is it the sequel no one has been asking for or is it the fact it's up against the X-Men in which no one will see it? Or maybe people will see it?

Nevermind.

Futterwack me upside the head with a bat if old.

There's been more recent clips released than the first post dated from march. Like this one:

Anyway I'm looking forward to it. I like the world of Alice, and from what I've seen this looks to be much improved on the previous film, so I'm guessing I'll love this quite a bit more than other recent Disney releases like The Jungle Book and Civil War.

Sure, Rango and The Lone Ranger.

You liked The Lone Ranger? All this time I thought I was alone.

Rango is tragically overlooked when people list best animated films of the last decade. Maybe Depp just needs to be in westerns.

The Lone Ranger's last 40 mins are better than most of the popcorn bullshit release this decade this far.

You'd think an egg man would have invented some way not to roll everywhere every time someone bumped into him. I mean necessity breeds technology right?

Urgh, this looks bad. I still feel that they should've just done a cartoon adaptation of Through the Looking Glass as a sequel to the original Disney Alice in Wonderland movie(there was enough material to do something interesting considering the first movie took bits from both books). Similar to Oz the Great and Powerful, there is something about modern adaptations that just needlessly complicate fantasy stories because writers believe complicated concepts and story twists will make an simple story better by modern standards. Fuck me with a spoon!

Absolutely hated the first movie. Depp and Hathaway are embarassingly bad here. Other than that, it actually looks more appealing visually than the first one.

FTLOG, could we just get an American McGee's Alice instead? It would've been way more interesting than what Disney and Burton shat out.

spoilers!

this was the first 3D movie I saw post-Avatar (big deal tbh, the box office says so as well)

went to the theater high, was so disappointed by this piece of crap and how it didn't make me laugh or smile or puke or whatever. it was just boring shit. but then the futterwacken starts and it was like I finally understood tim burton's vision for this movie. everything was leading up to that key moment.
