my god, over reaction over little things. -_-

we still haven't seen a longer gameplay video detailing if the car damage is toned down or not and the pedestrian thing, maybe it's a glitch, ever think about that?

come tuesday all of this will become clear and by then we can all whine how gta 4 is much better than gta v.
 
What's the story about the guy who leaked the footage getting paid by rock*? I'm at work on my phone GAF so is hard to backtrack so many pages on a mobile

I honestly have no clue. It sounds weird for Rockstar paying this guy in order for him to shut up about the game. That will make more and more people leak some footage.
 
lol its funny the things people complain about.

also i believe the bike helmet was less damage.

and i guess the seatbelt helps too. if that really exists.
wonder if there are airbags? lol

In fact it wouldn't work like that in GTA IV (Niko doesn't 'ragdoll' on contact, even while jumping). What appears to have happened in that is that Franklin is killed, and his euphoria ragdoll interacts with the cop. What people are having an issue with is you interacting with an NPC by walking into them.

EDIT: Watching it again, perhaps not.

Are you so sure? Or was the guy recording the video, who wasn't playing, more familiar with GTA IV on PS3. It's quite common. I have to look at a 360 controller to no that Triangle's equivalent is Y, and if I'm talking to 360 players I still refer to it as Triangle.

One thing is for damn sure R* didn't implement snow JUST for one mission. CVG preview confirmed a calendar app so maybe we get seasons :O that would be insane.

yup, that's what i really want to say. thank you for clearing it out for others ;)

because that's much better than coming to a conclusion that somehow a feature was removed entirely from the game based on seeing just a snippet of gameplay.

Could be a snowy area, could be that there are seasons. I honestly think that it is part of a mission where the story skips towards a certain month.

Boy do I wish that I am wrong and we can all drive towards a mountain that is filled with snow.

When all evidence points to it, until evidence is provided to the contrary, people will come to conclusions.

If a video is posted where vehicle damage is more like GTA IV, people will stop saying the vehicle damage is nerfed.
 
I seriously doubt R* would go to all that trouble of putting snow for only one part of the game which ties to a mission I imagine it will be throughout the entire game or in certain areas like Mount Chiliad.

but really im not trying to argue with you, i also saw that pedestrian video but i'm not worried one bit because i'll see it for myself when i play it on tuesday.

my point being, keep the feelings in check until you've experience the problem first hand :)

One of the videos on the Instagram account says the snow mission takes place

I always found running into somebody else's body and nearly knocking them over every time to get a reaction a bit absurd anyway, I'm glad they dropped it.

How can only one person be leaking gameplay, that is really mystifying.

In SA, they had you travel to Liberty City just for one mission. In IV, they had you hang from and climb alongside a truck just for one mission. So...who knows?
 
i must say i am worried about that collision thing. half the fun for me was pushing people into driving cars, off staris or anything you could imagine. lets hope the jump into the policeman was not just a divekick or something. still buying this but well... i will be kind of pissed if its actual not possible anymore. with niko you did not have to run, simply walking into them made them change course or drop what they where holding. combined with the "b" shove it was ultimative fun. i keep my fingers crossed they were mission relevant beeings. it is possible for both, the hookers and the gang ones.

Although Rockstar's games performed always better on 360, the recent gameplay footage we've seen was taken from PS3. Who knows.

I'm personally betting on the 360 version to be the better one, just because of Rockstar's history on the PS3.
