Most of the time, you have to go to the place. They won't do anything for you over the phone. Especially if you sound like you never did this before.

EDIT: AKyemeni has a point. It's hardly the same, but I called the lego store trying to get a fancy set and they told me no on the phone. Went there, and boom they had plenty.
I actually have a ccw permit and probably will go armed. I just hate the idea of potentially getting in a situation where I might have to use it. The fact that it is a public location is somewhat reassuring, but it still feels pretty shady. I would prefer to just take a friend and leave the gun at home. 100 bucks isn't worth potentially getting in a shootout over. I'd just give the money up if he tried to jack me rather than trying something stupid over 100 bucks.

They would never say yes over the phone. It could be anybody calling. The most I've ever gotten to a confirmation on the phone about selling a game early is, "No, but you might want to come down here."

Seems like a lot of you guys have never or rarely used craigslist. I use it all the time and it's always been safe, even in seemingly shady situations (going into peoples apartments, having people over, meeting in terrible areas etc.)
Keep things public to be extra safe, and you should be OK. I'm about to sell something to someone from craigslist in an hour.

Welp, first listing is now gone. Just went back to check, they are getting pulled down.
I would just keep the for sale part open and check it every so often.
Don't know, but it's not worth risking my Halo 4 edition 360, especially not when I have my SE GTAV payed off as well.
I still really fuckin want it though.

There's only one way to avoid getting your console banned for playing a game early, and that's to make sure it doesn't tell Xbox Live that you've played the game before its release date. Disable your wifi, plug out the ethernet cable, make damn sure that box doesn't touch the internet until Tuesday at 12:01 am PST, and you'll be fine.
