All James Bonds movies on HBO Go

Not sure about other apps like HBO Max but on HBO Go I saw yesterday they have added all James Bond movies.
I must admit I have never seen the old ones, just 2-3 movies with Pierce Brosnan and Daniel Craig, so this is really cool that I can catchup.
I finished the first one, Dr. No from 1962 and other than amateurish look by today standards I enjoyed it. I will probably watch them all :)

you have to at least watch all the Connery ones. it's cool how it builds up. by the time there is an army of ninjas infiltrating the volcano base in You Only Live Twice, imo that is peak og James Bond.

alot of early Bond is him sneaking around compounds, which is really fun, in a Metal Gear Solid way almost. all the Austin Powers tropes come from the Connery era Bond movies.

Roger Moore era is much sillier, and by the 70's it was very cartoony. i like Moonraker, which culminates in a laser gun battle in space, and features the famous villain Jaws, and his Harley Quinn-like girlfriend.

I should really give all of these a watch again. Always wanted to own one of those full DVD (now BD) sets that featured all of them up to the Brosnan era but never managed to find any good deal on those.

Oooo. I'll have to do a marathon. I've seen all of them at some point but I've only seen the Pierce brosnan and Craig films more than once.

Gotta go with The Spy Who Loved Me for favourite movie

"You Only Live Twice" is probably my fave song, pretty low key but it's chill and I like the lyrics

Spectre was the most disappointing movie of my life. I've never been so hyped for something only to be let down so hard...That's why I'm really tempering my expectations for No Time To Die. If it's continuing that story line then I'm concerned.

At least No Time to Die has a chance at being legendary crap. Spectre was just so extremely mediocre and bland. It was like a dead serious Roger Moore film with none of the high and lows that made those movies memorable for better or for worse.

Spectre actually does have the honor of the best 5 minute opening to a Bond movie ever IMO. That intro where he is walking through the parade and the camera never cuts away. It was a tremendous bit of film making. Everything after the first camera cut was dull.

I checked out at the Helicopter fight scene when he tried to kill the pilot BEFORE killing the other guy 😂 The pilot is the LAST guy you kill lol

Finished with first three movies, pretty good so far. The best part are the hot chicks 😄 i hope it will continue like this.
