Haha, the reactions are interesting for a one point change ;b. But I understand, we've stayed consistent since 2004, any change is going to look bad, or weird at best.
Not sure what I prefer yet. Obviously just experimenting, so all elements might not be consistent, ignore that part.

Actually, it's not bigger at all:

Note that, for thread titles that span two lines, it will be a little bigger, however.
Just for the lulz change to 30.

lmaooooooDoes this mean we're getting signatures too?

It's not just a question of point, but the font the sizing is being applied to. IMO the larger size with this particular font looks and reads poorly (at least in Chrome).Haha, the reactions are interesting for a one point change ;b. WHATS HAPPENING
That would be amazing.Just for the lulz change to 30.
why did you even say this lolFun Fact: The IGN forums absolutely died after a board re-design.
Won't happen here, but it's a true story.

Any chance we can just keep this as an experiment? It'll make for a nice "that one time" story.Haha, the reactions are interesting for a one point change ;b. But I understand, we've stayed consistent since 2004, any change is going to look bad, or weird at best.

Works for me, since I always increased the size anyway. Old/Blind GAF unite? :\
DOOM!!!!!!lol @ comparing this to the IGN boards dying
This is where we disagree.Yeah I'm inclined to agree. I think that's why I went with the 11 point way back in the day, something just looked weird about it at 12 even though it's more readable.

lmaoooooo
This would actually make me okay with the font change.
By increasing the font size you ruin the interelationship of the negative shape, the figure ground relationship. The shapes between characters and within the characters so that the counters and the space between them just do not hold the letters anymore. It's no longer letters existing in a powerful matrix of surrounding space it's just jarring to the eyes by creating such an expanse between each letter you make each word feel obtuse.Haha, the reactions are interesting for a one point change ;b.
