My Live expires in march... Don't know if I want to pull the trigger on this or not... I don't play games as much as I used do... Don't expect to buy Gears Judgement, I doubt ill buy CoD 2013 (at least on a 360) and then I don't know if i would want to hold on to it till next gen assuming MS is smart enough to forgo the entire premium online entirely.

Is this only a 1 Day sale?

I highly, highly doubt they will implement a totally different system for the 720.

It will most likely be an evolution of Live just like Xbox-->360.

I can give you a few hundred million reasons ($$$$) it won't be totally free nextgen. Just like Xbox to X360, you sub will just transfer and continue on.

If anything, it'll get worse next gen. They'll restrict even more (if that's possible) unless you pay.

Well, I don't know. Wii U has free online and if PS4 also has it then MS might be in trouble. I've heard of a lot of people who are tired of paying for live. I, for one, am. If Sony can improve their online service and make their hardware easier to work with then I can totally see people buying online games for PS4 instead of Xbox, and the free online would be one of those reasons.

Then again, who knows. PSN might cost money next gen.
