I'm amazed that they were ranked so high for workplace environment. I've heard nothing but terrible things about them on that front.

I honestly stopped buying stuff from Amazon ever since they started charging a sales tax.
Doesn't stop people from buying up everything apple.Doesn't Amazon treat it's warehouse workers like dog shit?
Social Responsibility . . . Whole Foods? WTF? Do they listen what comes out of that CEO's mouth?
The only company that deserves respect on that list is Costco. They are one of the insanely few corporations that have used neo-liberalism as intended. To use the lack of regulations to keep the prices of goods down while having the employees getting the fruit of the rewards or at the very least not shafting them.
The rest of the list seems wrong to me. Google may give hundreds of millions to charity here and there but they dodge billions in tax revenue. Whole Foods CEO thinks a centrist president is pushing fascism. Coco-Cola is widely known for donating to paramilitaries to assassinate union leaders. Disney just seems like an odd choice. Apple....lol. I've heard things about Amazons treatment of their warehouse employees but I'm not sure how much of it is legit as it could have been blown way out of proportion so I'm not going to judge.
All this list tells me is how incredibly naive the public is. I mean I'm not asking you to think of these companies as bad as say Monsanto but "most respected company"?
WTF? Someone hating on Whole Foods? Don't they fucking look at what employees earn and are paid in benefits? WTF?
A friend that used to work at the Milwaukee location told me he had to sit through a lot of anti-union meetings
Correct me if I'm wrong but the CEO still treats his employees well although what spews out of his mouth is like devil talk.Social Responsibility . . . Whole Foods? WTF? Do they listen what comes out of that CEO's mouth?
I also love it when the "liberal" Costco accelerates their dividend to avoid high taxes for those very progressive people on top, who stand to make a lot of money. Soooo progressive!!!!!!!
