Yeah, it was $7.49 on Friday, but that deal lasted for like 3 hours. $10 this whole week, still cheap.

All 3 items are Steam (unless you choose Mixed DRM, which then only Prototype 2+DLC are Steam)

Ran perfectly on my Alienware laptop but I have that down to the big Alienware splash screen popping up at the start. I do remember a crash when allocated memory goes over 4GB but it only happened once or twice.

It's a guilty pleasure for sure. Story sucks, but the game play is pretty addictive IMO.

Note for the group: If P2 follows the same path as P1, don't expect to get it much cheaper on Steam sales. P1 took forever to brush near $10, always hovering at $15. $10 for that pack is a damn good deal relatively.

Plus, I'll agree on the comments with P1 being a guilty pleasure. I love the gameplay and the concept of the story, but the story execution and the VA is hideous. Plus the main character is somewhat unlikeable. Been interested in P2 and will likely bite on this.

Pretty similar honestly.
Haven't played to but its the closest thing to a Ultimate Destruction thats actually good.

Prototype's the only one I've tried so far, but you need this fix (replace the file in the main game folder) to play at anything higher than 1280x800. Once I did that, I'm able to run it at 3200x1800 and keep 60fps barring any explosions or anything, which is normal. Uses the Xbox 360 pad natively, too.

Yeah, that resolution fix really helped. Prototype 2 doesn't have that problem though IIRC.

Are you sure it's even an affiliate link? The links from CAG or Reddit for instance:

I don't see a tag= in it. I don't think the ref= parameter is used for such a purpose on Amazon.

I believe you're right, xelios. I've linked stuff from Amazon before and it has that ref tag and it wasn't a referral, just me browsing and linking something.

Not a computer expert but looks like the ref in the link looks more like it just tracks how you found it more than anything, not that it says Wario is getting cashmoney for you clicking his link.

They're pretty decent, at least the first one(bought the bundle for the 2nd game). If you like Infamous on PS3 you might like this as Prototype kind of mimics it.
