Is Dungeon Siege 3 a good choice for someone who doesn't plan on playing multiplayer, and enjoys loot and dungeon crawlers?

Sort of wondering the same thing. Based on the reception it looks like a poor port job of a console game so I'm kind of hesitant.

Me: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim for Xbox 360 is listed at $59.96, but where I would click to add it to my cart, there is a button to view the Gold Box offer. When I click the button, it takes me to the Gold Box deals page, but Skyrim is nowhere to be found.
Saurabh: Hello, my name is Saurabh. I'm sorry about this. I'll be happy to help you today.

Me: Okay, I just wanted to check. Thank you for your help.
Saurabh: You're welcome.
Is there anything else I can do for you today?
Me: That's all. Keep up the good work!

there was a thread about Amazon 19 days of sales but i guess it wasn't poopular enough.

Amazon has the best deals, it's crazy. I got dead island as a deal before launch and they turn around and make a even better deal. How are they making money?

The thing is, it's not just PC download games. Before I got a pc I was getting crazy video game deals just by pro ordering, making future games cheaper, and a endless cycle of savings.

Is ffxi worth it at this point of time for $5? I know that's cheap but how many people still play it?

I would say no personally. It costs like $13 per month, There are few people that will be willing to help you with missions you need at your first starting situation. Hardly anyone visits the old areas, and everyone is pretty much speed leveling through the same dungeons and in huge groups exploiting a book quest. You level fast but don't skill up and become gimp for it, you pretty much do this until you're capped exp and you're pretty much useless. The real drag will be trying to skill up to be competent.

Can anyone clarify the DSIII multiplayer sucks or does not suck issue? If the missus and I can't have characters that persist throughout the storyline it's a no-buy.

I read somewhere, maybe the OT, that it's sorta like the multi in Fable 2. Say it ain't so?

The MP is like Fable 2 in the sense that you always have to be on the screen together, even if you're playing via the internet, yeah.

The character information is saved to the hosts computer, so if you rejoin the same save, then you'll still have the same items and skills unless the host has changed them since. So permitting you always have the same host, and use the same save, your character will persist throughout the story. However if you wish to swap hosts, then you'll have to start again unless you send the save over or something.

if only the ds dragon quest games were on here ... :( i just got a 3ds and am really trying to get a hold of those games.

IV and VI are somewhat cheap. V on the other hand, will probably never go down in price. You're gonna have to bend over and pay over $30 if you want to buy it.
