Same here...I am sure it's nothing to worry about. They will be updated to the correct prices. But it would be nice if this ever stayed the same price till launch
Same here. I am sure they'll update everything in due time.My vanilla order has now changed to the bundle on Amazon (gamer pack), but the price is still £349.99. Is anyone else's order like that?

Looks like I won't be buying anything.......
Awoke to an email this morning from Amazon that they had attempted to take payment for my pre order (I have no idea why they are doing this) and the payment failed.
They attempted to take payment from a card that expired months ago and was removed from the account (the only card that shows on my payment section on Amazon.co.uk is my current , valid one.) and that I had to provide new payment info within 5 days.
I did this (of course the only payment option available was the current valid card) and this was accepted....with the shiny new delivery date of January 2nd 2014.
Fuck You Amazon.
I'm talking to CS now.
They say the card I uses when I initially pre ordered it is the one they tried to charge even though it's been removed from the site for months.
Their site explicitly states
yet the guy I'm talking to is saying that because they couldn't authorise the card I'm SOL.
I made sure that the old card was removed all together from the site months ago and the only payment method I have listed is the current valid one. I have no idea why they attempted to charge a card I removed from the website.
Edit : Doesn't seem to care that the card they attempted to charge was removed 3 months ago , that's my delivery date, I can cancel if it doesn't suit.
Edit 2 : refuses to escalate the issue, says it can't be changed back and all he is willing to do is change it to expedited delivery and try to get it out before the end of December.

The UK.
30 mins with a CS that couldn't have cared less I was offered expedited delivery.
I'm pretty pissed off. The card they attempted to authorise was removed from the account 3 months ago, there is no reason for them to attempt to use it rather than the one listed as my payment option in "My Account".

Did you change the card listed on the PS4 pre-order or did you remove the old card from your amazon account and add the new one without changing the PS4 pre-order details?
I don't understand why they have tried your card. Aren't they supposed to only debit your card just before they ship? My pre-orders haven't been debited yet. I am in UK.
Mine has now updated to the bundle... but estimated delivery date is now 31/12/13!?
I pre-ordered in May, so this better be a temporary issue!
Authorisation I assume, to make sure the card is active for when they go to charge it.
The later (this was done 3 months ago)
I understand now that they charged the expired card because it was the one on record in June when I ordered it, but no where is that made clear, indeed in the email I received leading up to the card expiry it nowhere states that any pre orders would retain the old card as payment (because it's stupid as fuck )
I'm shit out of luck, there is no chance of a launch unit and I had chosen bundle 6 (KZ , FIFA , 2x pad and camera @460 ) Buying that separately in the run up to xmas , if I could even locate one , would cost a fortune.
Has anyone else with a PS4 pre-order (UK specifically) had an attempted payment taken from their card?
The Amazon forums are just realising that making any changes to your order bangs you to the back of the queue. It looks like any changes to peoples pre orders count as a new order to the automated system, so get put right to the back of the queue, this includes stuff like removing games you don't need due to bundles etc.
Spoke to a 2nd CS, again said the whole process is automated and there is nothing that can be done.

Does this include changing payment method even if you havent been sent an email?
I would be lying if I said 100% yes , but I would assume so.
People who have removed 2nd cameras and 2nd copies of KZ from their account have been put back to January.
Maybe stupid question but are these bundles on amazon guaranteed release date if I pre-order now? looking to swap from shopto
Probably making sure that people are committed to the purchase and are not going to cancel it 24h before it ships. Why are Amazon charging already, Isnt it normally a few days to a week before its posted?

I was speaking to a CS rep about not being able to use my new card. The problem was apparently my shipping address since it was "inactive" (still no idea what this means). So I changed my address from what it was to the exact same address and it worked. Linked my card and everything fine. They specifically told me that there would be a delay in my order because of this. However, my order still says 30th Nov - 2nd Dec.Does this include changing payment method even if you havent been sent an email?

If the supplies really are limited, they want to know the optimal number of customers who are not going to back out.

S yeah , fuck Amazon.
I was planning on cancelling shortly before shipping. I haven't made my mind up if I should get it now or early 2014...
Oh fuck they better not be charging people as the money I have in my account isn't even mine.

surely Amazon can go through the orders and put anyone with a bundle back at the front of the queue? anyone with a bundle would have been a day one customer anyway. Just give them a few days to sort things out.
Amazon chat are telling me they will only charge me at dispatch! What the hell?
The CS I spoke to said there is no human intervention as the whole order process is automated.
I specifically asked to be put in contact with someone who could help and he refused me saying it's impossible to change a date manually.
There is a lot of confusion on the Amazon boards, one guy just got his order changed due to removing the single camera he had as he got a bundle and now has his date changed , no one from Amazon views the boards though so complaining there is a waste of time.
It was an authorisation check, they don't take money, just make sure the card is active and chargeable.
Amazon said:Hello xxxx,
Ive checked your order #xxx-xxxxxxxxx-xxxxx for the Sony PlayStation 4 (PS4) and can see that it was placed on the 12th of June with First Class delivery selected.
Rest assured that well dispatch your order prior to the release day, with the intention that it arrives with you on the actual release day. The fact that you updated your CC details just now will not affect your pre-order status in any way. Also, you will be able to use the gift certificate for that order.
The information on the items product detail page refers to orders placed on or after 6 August 2013 and will not impact your order. Please note that changes made to your order between now and the date of dispatch may affect its Release Day Delivery eligibility.
I hope this helps. We look forward to seeing you again soon.
Warmest regards,
Rick

Ah that explains it, thanks. It was an authorisation check, they don't take money, just make sure the card is active and chargeable.
Have you a link to the Amazon forums where people have had their date changed?
thanks
I just spoke to a representative on Amazon chat, and it seems if you change the payment method (on a PS4 pre order) your delivery date will be altered. I also asked when the payment will be taken, and they said a few days before delivery date.
Transcript below:
Me: I have a Playstation 4 bundle pack which I pre-ordered in May. I need to change the payment method on that order. Will this cause any issues? I have been reading that people have changed their payment method and it 'removed' their pre order from the queue.
Manikandan: Yes exactly, if any changes made in the payment method will affect the estimated delivery date.
Me:So changing the payment method will change the delivery date? Why is this?
Manikandan: I understand your point. As our system will automatically send a request to your bank for approval, any changes regarding the payment, change in delivery, adding items etc will effect the estimated delivery date.
Me: When will the payment for the PS4 be taken? (The release date for the console is November 29th.)
Manikandan: We dont debit money from your payment card until just before your items are dispatched. Your payment card is charged approximately 24 hours after the items in your order have entered the dispatch process.
Me: If I changed my payment method, how much would it change the delivery date by?
Manikandan: I'm afraid I'm unable to confirm. It may be estimated to deliver one or two weeks after the estimated delivery date.
Me: So would this still be the case if I changed it to a payment method which had been previously used on Amazon?
Manikandan: I'm afraid yes.
Me: Hmm, that seems to be a very odd system, but thanks for the answers
