Any news about preordering the Switch in Mexico?? Preferably on Amazon MX ??? I don't trust Gameplanet or Gamers anymore :'(

Besides them I haven't seen anything elsewhere. The Amazon MX Switch page is up, but it hasn't been made available for purchase yet.

I preordered on Gameplanet and Gamers, but if it comes up in Amazon I'll cancel my preorders. I just want a way to have it guaranteed on release day.

They are available on Amazon but I'm not sure if it is sold out by now. Keep in mind that the neon joy cons are in reverse color from the SKU version. So joy con R is blue and joy con L is red.

On one hand, I prefer it this way. On the other, it's really annoying.

Dangit, out of stock on Amazon US.

Kind of a bummer but hopefully I can snag some. I like the colors of both of them, but if I can't pick them up I'll get neon blue for both.

I signed up for notifications for when they (hopefully) get more in.

Question: Do you have to drop the full $300 to pre-order through Amazon or is it a certain amount? Never pre-ordered something on Amazon before.

Amazon will not notify you by email unless they decide to release it at a specific time at a later date and notify people ahead of time so there can be a virtual bloodbath.

They will charge you the full amount, but not until it's about to ship. There's no preorder charge hold.

I don't like that they have colored straps to match the colored Joycons but they don't include with the Joycons, they include gray ones regardless of color so you have to buy them separately.

I actually like the black straps and feel like they add some contrast to the JoyCons. With matching straps I feel like they'd look more toy-like.

It is odd that the console SKUs are merged on one page, when it wasn't like that Thursday night/Friday morning. I'm starting to think they're only getting the grey ones.

Notifications from Amazon dont work, use a online program that detects changes in the html of the page. Focus on a div container like currently unavailable that will change when the page updates, that triggers an email immediately.

It's ugly as hell, but it reminds me of a zelda WiiMote condom that I got prelaunch for the Wii that was stolen and I could never find for sale again (it was just a green thin protector with a triforce symbol on it). I loved that thing.
Also, I'm intrigued by those joycon protectors too.

They don't charge you anything until it's shipped.

Amazon charges you when they ship it. So no actual money up-front.

No, you will only be charged for the order when Amazon begins to process it for shipping. You might see a $1 authorization charge on your account though that'll linger for a couple of days.

I've been trying to find a case that fits the switch unit without the joy-cons attached. That way the case isn't too long. My wifes backpack isn't big enough for the full length Switch with controllers. Hopefully a decent one comes around because i've only found a horrible plastic one so far.

Yeah, my gf gave me mine as a bday gift, but I would have easily shelled out the dough for it after seeing the quality. I am eagerly awaiting what they do for the Switch. There's a 0% chance that I will buy a case not made by them this gen.

Waterfield is awesome. Picked up cases for my 3DS and Vita at their SF craft room/warehouse a while back (pretty close to my work) and have just been insanely happy with the quality. Anyone wanting the absolute best quality case you can get in terms of fit, finish, looks, and materials, regardless of price, should consider Waterfield and Waterfield alone.

I want to get the version of this that has the screen protector etc. included. When I tried measuring the case from the Amazon dimensions, it seems... small. I don't think the Joycons are attached when you put it in a case. If so, where do they go? On top of the tablet part, inside the meshing?

30 secs is fine, it doesn't matter really you never get a email unless there is a change.

It's bulgy in the mesh, but unless you have a screen protector it looks like it could scratch the screen? Unless you put it down screen-first.
