So I ordered the special edition of zelda. It's showing to arrive on the 13 though rather than the 3rd. Anyone know if preorder dates change using Amazon? Rarely preorder and having it come in 10 days later is terrible.

Amazon will updated the delivery date if they can.

I'm not sure why they would need a 10 day delay, but it could just be a typo and it was supposed to be the 3rd.
 
So do people these Joy-Con Straps that are 7.99 are going to be worthwhile for something like ARMS because of the extended buttons?. I'm thinking I should get a couple
 
I pre-ordered the grey one this morning (before the neon was available). I'll probably hold onto that order until I can secure a neon SKU. Accessories, games and hardware are slowly trickling onto amazon, going in and out of stock as the day goes on. No need to panic if you haven't secured one yet. If this was a NES classic situation I don't think we'd be seeing the stock fluctuating as frequently as it is.
 
Got a preorder in for a Neon bundle in store at Gamestop. Strange they don't have a listing for the pro controller yet either.
 
Honestly, the grip + joycons look comfortable enough that I don't want the Pro controller as much I thought I would. I'm fine with not getting it day one. Instead, I'm going to spend those re$ources on Zelda Master Edition.

Maybe down the road there'll be a game that will really make want a D-Pad enough.
 
Heads up, if you have a Best Buy near you, you can still preorder from their store reserved units for pickup midnight/launch day.
$50 down (In California). Shows up in order history and got my receipts via email straight away. I got the Grey but I think you can reserve a neon unit too.

The Customer service bloke confirmed they were sold out online when he did it so don't let the online stock discourage you.

By phone? Target just cancelled my neon console order so I'm looking for options.
 
No idea if this is wide spread or just me, but Target cancelled my neon console order and over chat told me they were out of stock and there is nothing they can do. They're giving me a $30 gift card and an apology.

8:59 AM EST. Cancellation email came at 4:27 PM EST.

I have a grey console preorder through Amazon. Just wanted the neon ones and Target was the only place I could get one. $30 target giftcard is nice though and I can always buy the neon joycons separately if I want to spend the money.

This is why people make multiple preorders.

The sad reality is everyone outside of Japan will stare stunned at the selection of colors and custom editions they'll eventually have. While we get black and MAYBE white.

Damn, Im sorry to hear that but glad you had a backup. I havent gotten a cancellation but my confirmation came in 2 hours earlier.
 
Shit! I thought I would be able to get to preorder after work. I thought people's impressions(mainly on Gaf) was that they didn't like it (not my opinion on the presentation, I actually quite enjoyed it for it's laughs and weirdness). I didn't expect amazon to not have it up anymore. Are supplies limited?

It is a console launch. Supplies will always be limited and people will always look to scalp it.
