AMAZON US Switch up

Do you think the Neon version will be considered a different SKU on Amazon? I was only able to preorder one Nintendo Switch due to the quantity limit but wondering if I could bypass this if I can catch the Neon version when it's available for preorder.

Would like to grab one for my little brother too.

Still, why am I being so weird with colors? I just want a pro anyways. $110 for grip + cons is nuts, even if it cures my mismatch OCD.

If you're just looking to create one matching pair, I believe you can buy a single Joycon in any color for like $50.
 
Not sure how to pre-order works but I had to cancel mine (after much analising bith reasons for wanting it and budget, decide to wait till holiday and get zeldan for wii u). Hope that pre-order went to a gaf in waiting list (is there even a waiting list?).
 
I've got a preorder for a gray, but I really want a neon one instead. The initial presentation didn't do any favors for the neon version, but as I watch more hands on stuff and videos, the neon looks really slick. Plus it'd be nice to spend 80 on a red/blue joycon combo and have a full red and blue set.

Oh well, here's hoping. And waiting.

I'm pretty sure for NA they're only offering these in grey. At least that's all they show on http://www.nintendo.com/switch/buy-now/

In Japan I think the neon singles are My Nintendo Store exclusive... but then they also allow My Nintendo members in Japan to custom order a console with any combination of JoyCon and JoyCon strap colors.

Speaking of Japan, I haven't seen the Switch listed on Amazon.co.jp at all, what's up with that?

That isn't an option rn correct?
 
GS doesn't charge until it processes shipping like Amazon right?

I was on the fence on if I was going to pick up the Switch at launch because of the limited about of games, but I happened to open Amazon on my own with the one and only purpose of seeing if they had the Switch in stock. I had read the news about the release date right before I went to bed the prior night. So the next day, not even first thing plenty of hours went by, I just decided to check Amazon's site and there it was, Pre Order Add To Cart from Amazon directly. So I picked it up. I thought nothing of it.

Went to post on a Facebook thread with a few other people from the previous night about when it was available for preorder saying it was on Amazon, one friend was like "What, are you sure, I just checked a minute ago?" and then replied about 2 minutes later saying "yep, already gone."

It was the universe telling me to go ahead and preorder the Switch.

They announced the possibility of buying single Joycon (L) and Joycon (R) controllers without a bundle... so you might go that route.

No, it doesn't look like you can do that.

the red/blue set sold separately is opposite from what is included with the console.

I guess, you could buy a separate blue and separate red set and mix them. But yeah, that'd be an extra $80 to do that.

The confidence I had of my self control just took quite the dip.
 
I tried to pre order the Neon but I'm getting an error with my credti card.
It says the information isn't correct but I have checked a lot of times and everything is right. I even tried with another credit card and still couldn't put an order in.

I don't live in the US but the shipping adress was in the US and the billing address in Brazil.
It seems like I will have to wait for Amazon.

I got the same error when I tried PayPal (also don't live in US but got US shipping address), I didn't recheck or try again... told myself screw it I'll wait for Amazon
 
I don't wanna do GameStop, too expensive for shipping. Cmon Amazon!

Joycons are so expensive but I really don't think I'm gonna need any extra any time soon. It's just that I'm going to buy a pair of red/blue if Amazon never makes the neon available
