Amazon has the ability to restrict certain products from being shipped internationally. The same happened on Amazon Japan with the Switch.



No preorder policy doesn't necessarily mean the store will have stock come launch. I'd keep the GameStop preorder handy in the event that Meijer doesn't pan out.

Tim planning to keep the preorder for at least a week before it comes out to gauge how many systems my Local store is getting.

At launch? I'd assume there will be some retailers out there with stock up for grabs for walk-ins but they'll probably be few and far between. After launch stock will gradually stabilize.

Eventually you'll be able to get one if you want one, obviously.

I wanted to import this since it seems to be more form fitting than the Hybrid Cover sold over here, but the shipping cost for this item alone is insane (￥4,029) for whatever reason.

I checked out other stores carrying the item and HMV is better, but the shipping cost is still more than the item itself.

I also had $72.41 in reward dollars to spend which brought the system down to $257.58.
