The way I'm seeing recent events unfold is
1) Of course Amber would deny being into butt stuff in interviews. Admitting she was down for that all of the time would implicate Kanye indirectly, and she was obviously trying to keep a lid on their sex life.
2) Kim was the arbitrator who made them squash this shit. Kanye came out and apologized for involving Amber's kid, Kim and Amber hashed it out like adults and made sure there was no more drama going forward. The pic is a symbol showing you're not going to see any more shots fired from either side.
