I got mine as well. I wish it got the hole punch on the barcode. Instead I got this:

Oh well...[/QUOTE]

lol I got the same punch hole.

Anyway, "um...boss I think I may have food poisoning, need to go home ASAP!"

Well, my hole punched Uncharted 2 copy has a hole through the bar code, case and manual. So not exactly sure hole punch would be better. ANd it sucks cause my copy is signed by Amy Hennig.

Anyone in California get the game yet? I guess they really are delivering it at 3PM.

Edit: Ah, I guess Killthee got it.
My friend in Daly City got his 2 hours ago. The Fedex location for San Francisco, which is where I am is in South San Francisco so I never get Fedex deliveries until after 3PM.

Just got mine! FedEx rang my doorbell and left the game by my door....didn't have to sign anything. Can't wait to play tonight!

And yeah, I got a slash mark through my bar code. Lame.

Someone already has it for BIN on eBay for $100, lol

Funny thing is the swag has sold equal or more than that.

I'm in California and I got it at 10:30am.

Ugh..FedEx and UPS always wait until the end of the day to deliver to me.

EDIT: A-ha! Just got my copy. I did have to sign for mine. And yeah I got that scratch on the UPC too-what gives? It's not like it's a promo copy-I paid for it! Why would they deface it?

Yeah, the scratch is pretty bad. Worse than the one I got on Infamous 2.

Did anyone try multiplayer despite the sticker? I'm guessing the online code won't work anyway

Copies arrived today, thankfully my "please leave it at the door" note was a success. Totally ignored responsibilities and played through the first few chapters. Amazing as anticipated.

Based on other people's experience, you didn't need to leave a note since that's what most Fedex workers did anyways.

I have about another hour before I can start playing. So hyped.

Just turned it off after Chapter 6 to get some work done. Overall I really love it-especially Chapters 2 and 3. That being said-I'm not really looking forward to replaying the first part of the game again-because it is kind of slow...lots of tutorial stuff. I mean I like it-it focuses a lot on Character, which is great-but it is kind of slow moving at first...

Yup, just like Uncharted 2, this is gonna be a chore replaying. Not sure if game is easier too. At chapter 8 and I only had to restart a checkpoint 5 times. 3 of those were from the beginning. Hard difficulty, of course.

There are a couple that have sold for over $100 already. Seems bizarre people would pay like $50-$70 more for the game to get it like four days early.

Chore in what sense? How linear and scripted it is, making for a less fun experience the second time?

Yeah pretty much. It's great for first play through but it's gonna get a bit boring going through it again. It's like the Museum chapter all over again

So the FedEx guy left it on my front door step while I was at work. Normally I'd be pissed, but this time I'm so thankful that I didn't have to drive to the main facility to pick up my game. lol. Also a good thing nobody stole it off my doorstep...

I assumed the online pass wouldn't work because I tried to redeem my E3 DLC earlier today and it was spitting out an error, but it looks like the codes for the pass are live. The servers seem to be up, but I quit before MM was able to find a player.

Unlike the SOCOM 4/DCUO passes the U3 pass is not a service, it's a 555kb unlock key you download after redeeming the voucher. I'm guessing it could probably even be gameshared.

Well either Fedex didn't deliver mine or someone stole it (which seems unlikely).

So far this whole experience has been a bust.

I don't even think you can run in the first three chapters it's pretty slow

Just came home to find my copy of the game. Scratch is kinda bad, but I'll swap it with anothe of my game cases so no worries.

I'll probably see if the code can even be redeemed in a little bit - need to eat first.

You're surprised the game design is similar to the previous games?

And you're labeling the game a chore to replay, but you paid to go to a special event for the game, based on your experiences with the last game?

He's talking about the introductory chapters, not the entire game. And Wario is a big Uncharted fan, so I don't think you can raise your first counter against him. :P

I'm merely just stating replaying the game is gonna be slow again.

And I didn't pay anything

p.s. game is getting awesome from where I am now

The first 3 chapters, while great from a story point of view and character building are awesome, however from a gameplay point of view, they're quite long and slow and very tutorial-heavy. It's good the first time around, but the second time around you'll be chomping at the bit to get to th good stuff.

Yup, they're like a really long tutorial level. If you hated replaying the Museum in U2 you're not gonna like replaying those 3 chapters.

Hmm. I'll enter my online pass later if you guys want to try co-op.
I'm up for it sometime this weekend. I should be done with the game by then. Don't open the map list for Competitive, I did it and regretted it 5 seconds later.

Up to chapter 8 myself. There are definitely some parts near the beginning that make replays kinda bleh, oh well. I'm down for co-op.

Got my tracking number today. Apparently my copy WAS delivered yesterday. And yet it was not on my door.

I am very upset.

Someone said the mp servers aren't really up? That's why you can't find people online or something...

I did matchmaking the day I got it and I saw that I got matched to at least two players before matchmaking kept restarting. So I'm guessing there's probably just not enough people to play a match.

I saw a lv 45 player in co-op MM yesterday, we got stuck in the countdown but he was lv 45 so he must have been able to play with other people.
