The dream is DEAD
Glad to see VII on 7nm but "at the same power" and no price is concerning...
With 60 CUs the overall Tflops isn't that much higher than Vega 64 LC.
With drops to 70s with no enemies on screen
Not at all, if you want smooth responsive gaming with good visuals. Is it me or game streaming totally ruins the purpose of a high end GPU?

The game still has to run somewhere...That's completely on the server side and your ISP when game streaming.
I'm taking best case scenario where the server you're streaming from is on the same city or town...That's completely on the server side and your ISP when game streaming.
How do you figure?so the new top-end AMD card still loses to a 1080Ti, while costing the same?
lmao at $699. Idiots, absolute idiots at AMD. Either launch this at $499 and fire a shot at Nvidia, or do what you are doing with it now and watch it die hard.
Calling it now, MS might one up Sony in terms of power come next-gen.
Notice that Lisa mentioned MS first though PlayStation is selling more and so their APU's.
Plus Phil is there and then there's the partnership with schools and such.
Why? It performs the same if not slightly better and its priced exactly the same.lmao at $699. Idiots, absolute idiots at AMD. Either launch this at $499 and fire a shot at Nvidia, or do what you are doing with it now and watch it die hard.

16 GB HBM? Have they learned nothing from Vega?
Why not have Vega 5 that comes with 8 GB of GDDR6 that alone would drive the price down to 550 or less and leave 16 GB HBM Vega 7 for content creators at crazy price.
Edit: GB
The quoted is all you, nowhere in my previous posts did I say anything about favoritism.favor
Why are so many people bringing up the 1080 Ti instead of the 2080, which is what the Vega II is supposed to compete against?
I can't imagine anyone , but most crazy fanboys buying that at 700. Same perf/price as 2080 , but no extra features like RTX and DLSS. I know those are only in one or two games , b ut maybe will come to more games later.$550-$600 for two year old performance still wouldn't look good. At least with 16 GB have more memory and more memory bandwidth(though that won't help in gaming benchmarks).
Even if those features came to more it doesn't really matter, for the way these cards handle them they're too premature to really care, it's very beta level. Nvidia's next generation is when people should be seriously considering them.I can't imagine anyone , but most crazy fanboys buying that at 700. So much for AMD launching a midrange with reasonable price card.... Guess i'll get RTX 2060 after all
Wait if there is a 1160 or 1170 at least... good bye AMD midrange GPU...
Thing is that these cards are just rumours, plus i really need to replace my ancient Geforce 650ti asap.
And while Ray tracing might be useless on the RTX 2060, DSLL seems like a very good technology for future games so i think it may be worth it in the long run

First up, CPUs. AMD presented its next generation 7nm desktop CPU, which is the 3rdGeneration Ryzen.
The new parts, codenamed Matisse, will be coming to market in mid-2019 (sometime in Q2 or Q3). The processor the company had on display was made from two pieces of silicon on the package: one eight-core 7nm chiplet made at TSMC, and a 14nm input/output chiplet with the dual memory controllers and the PCIe lanes, made at GlobalFoundries.
The company did state that it is the world's first 7nm gaming CPU, and will also be the world's first mainstream CPU to support PCIe 4.0 x16. At this time the company is not commenting on if the 3rd Gen is going to have a maximum of eight cores, or if this represents the best processor of the whole family.

Get a 1080 or a 1070 meanwhile... those are good cards yet.
AT this point there is no reason to consider a 1070 or even 1070Ti. The 2060 mostly outperforms it.They are more expensive than RTX 2060, without Ray tracing or DSLL
I don't think you could reach any further. You really believe in this nonsense?Calling it now, MS might one up Sony in terms of power come next-gen.
