I feel like Phil is basically a lock to win. I don't think he's ever been in the bottom 3 and he might be the only one left who's never been there.

He's the last standing good looking guy and will probably absorb most of Colton's voters. Skyler will probably come in second because Idol voters really love country music. Both of them are pretty good and will sell a lot of albums.

Jessica sings great but she doesn't have the charming personality required to win votes. Joshua is good at what he does, but I can't see his style of music selling many albums.

I am definitely in the "anyone but Phil" camp. Have been since very early. No matter who it is against him in the Finale...they have my support. Hopefully he gets eliminated top 3 in a shocker. Once you reach the finale your fans are always motivated....the weeks before there is always a chance.

I feel sorry for whoever is singing The Show Must Go On. I've listened to the acapella version several times today and I just can't imagine anyone coming close to doing justice to it. Adam Lambert flopped on it (Sorry, krypt; shit's true), and he was far more talented than any of these girls.

And yeah, that's the impression I had of Scotty (album doing well, radio not so much).

This really highlights how amazing Freddie's resonance was. She's not coming close, and she's been pretty good in past performances (though I think this one was a definite step down).

Yeah, I don't if it's the worst, but her voice wasn't ringing the way it usually does on those belts. And she's a clean, sustained F5 so I was a bit surprised by her apparently dodging D5s.

It definitely did, and throughout the whole thing it sounded like she was trying and failing to approximate the notes.

It's not a bad approach while you have a captive audience if you've resigned to the fact that he's going to wind up winning and that it's inevitable. BS your viewers while you still have a chance. Perhaps some folks will buy it.
