Two things I'll say. He along with Jordin are the only two this year who I feel are letting their guard down and giving up some soul on a consistent basis. His voice is so weak though. Everyone else is starting to feel very hollow.
Second, I hope all the haters also hated Taylor because it's the same routine. Mediocre to bad singer who shows some soul and character with a little gimickry and boom we have a winnah.

Jordin is the only one I can really stand to see win this year. Shes great...everyone else sucks.

This poster pulses with an appeal so broad the typical restraints of our societies fall by the wayside.
If the whole "vote for Sanjaya" thing were a truly coordinated effort, no one would vote for him this week (after he actually had an acceptable performance) and he'd go home. End of story.

Melinda -- really really great voice as usual, though not her best performance.
Lakisha -- As Simon said it's not a good song for this because it only has 3 notes, and she didn't really do much with them. Probably her worst performance yet.
Chris -- Awful until the very end, which he nailed.
Haley -- horrible make-up, horrible hair style, horrible outfit -- basically looked like a cheap hooker, and she sounded like a drunk sorority sister on karaoke night. Total crap.
Phil -- one of his best performances. He did well on the lower registers which is rare for him. But his voice cracked. And he's still nowhere near good enough to win this thing.
Jordin -- pretty good, lots of fun. She has a great voice, but the "O yea o yea" part was pretty weak. Not her genre.
Blake -- he actually projected this time! Past several weeks he's sounded out of breath. I thought he did a pretty good job, and a good performance.
Sanjaya -- holy crap, that was actually pretty good! He was confident and had some power and emotion.
My ranking, best to worst:

I'm just watching this anymore just to see Sanjaya **** it up every week but I'll be damned if he wasn't one of the better ones tonight. I hope he'll return to his old self next week.
