I was a big fan of her when she debuted. Hell even bought her follow up album and saw her in concert. Damn shame she did skin lightening, she had an amazing complexion.

Funny thing is friend of mine looks like Amerie pre any surgery. I wanted to date her for a while, but she has a daughter and at the time I was not into chicks with kids.

I'm a black male that does not give a fuck about complexion. If a woman is light skinned and pretty I will talk to her, if a woman is dark skin and pretty I will talk to her, simple as that.
