Picked up my Desire HD yesterday and the first thing I installed was Game Dev Story, so good! (both the phone and the game) :lol . The screen is huuuuge compared to the old N70 Nokia I upgraded from. Getting unlimited broadband/internet access for it today for 2eur a month too. Paying a total of 25eur a month for the phone and internet, a fairly good deal since the phone alone costs about 600e here and it's a 24 month contract.
I was reading up on how to properly start using a new phone/battery and the whole fully charge and discharge your battery for the first 3 or 4 times seems to be a hoax. Is there any actual evidence of it prolonging battery life or is it just a placebo for some people? Batteryuniversity.com says it's pointless with modern lithium-ion batteries and could potentially even harm the battery. So should I just charge it when I feel like it? I was hoping some of you guys have personal experience on this

.
