kaching said:Oh shit, sorry man. I thought you meant you actually registered before it sold out. Vic Gundotra just tweeted that it sold out already. Last year it took 50 days. This year, 59 minutes.

SimleuqiR said:Oh yes. And the Droid too.
Andrex said:They need to stop hyping it up. It's a conference for developers, and I have no qualms saying that most of this year's registrants probably aren't.
HTC Evo 4G.
That was GDC.
Futureman said:Ugh, Droid X battery is at 20% right now and I've barely taken it out of my pocket today. Took it off the charger at 9:45am. LAME.
carlosp said:seems something wrong with one of your apps. I have a milestone which i did not used for two days and it is still at 70% (i have no SIM card inside, but it is turned on). I have MIUI running and it has some great battery life.
You should try another ROM or use setcpu.

Interestingly, the Echo doesn't really run the optimized apps simultaneously when you have two of them open -- it quickly switches them in and out of hibernation, even though they're both displayed on screen. That means you can't do things like watch a video while writing an email, for example -- it's an odd limitation, but it seems like it'll only be an issue in limited circumstances.
It doesn't even mention 3G on the site, so yes.SimleuqiR said:http://www.thetoshibatablet.com/
^^^ Any chance this will be under $800.00 and not tied to a carrier?

This is probably not the site you are looking for!
You attempted to reach market.android.com, but instead you actually reached a server identifying itself as *.google.com. This may be caused by a misconfiguration on the server or by something more serious. An attacker on your network could be trying to get you to visit a fake (and potentially harmful) version of market.android.com. You should not proceed

EDIT:
is http://market.android.com giving a certificate error for everyone or just me?
I wouldn't want to link anyone to a market page if someone who isn't aware of what this means could think I'm sending them links to a malicious site
EDIT2: Never mind.. Just tried it on a different computer in my house and it's fine.. something on my laptop seems to be causing it

Any ETA? I need Honeycomb, and Motorola's $800 pill is tough to swallow -- unless, of course, the Toshiba tablet debuts at a similar price.dream said:A friend of mine is a product manager at Toshiba and he tells me they're gonna launch with wifi only at first.
