Ben folds five - give me my money back

It's called Song For The Dumped

Came to post this too.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XVk_e31dnlE

So you wanted
to take a break
Slow it down some and
have some space

Well fuck you too
Give me my money back
Give me my money back
you bitch
I want my money back
(And don't forget to give
me back my black T-Shirt)

Wish I hadn't bought you
dinner
Right before you dumped me
on your front porch
Give me my money back
Give me my money back
You bitch
I want my money back
and don't forget

And don't forget.

Du Hast - Rammstein

Pulled the English lyrics, maybe translated poorly:

You
you have
you have me
you have asked me
you have asked me and I have said nothing

Do you want, until death seperates you,
to be faithful to her for all days

No

Do you want, until death, which would seperate,
to love her, even in bad days

No

I always like seeing you and your unabashed Lagwagon love pop up in threads, Lulzwagon. Hoss is so good.

I hide in the shadows of OT and drop references to Lagwagon, Strung Out and Propagandhi as often as possible as long as it vaguely relates to the topic at hand.
One day the world will understand!

Some great choices already. My two favourites;

Bob Dylan - She's Your Lover Now. Quite a funny song that paints an awkward tale of Bob meeting his ex at a party with her new fella, but he spits the lyrics out with real venom. Underrated gem.

Bruce Springsteen - Backstreets. Possibly my all time favourite song, both the studio and live versions are equally as powerful and Bruce always nails the painful delivery. Check this shit out:

'Blame it on the lies that killed us
Blame it on the truth that ran us down
You can blame it all on me Terry,
It don't matter to me now
When the breakdown hit at midnight
There was nothing left to say
But I hated him
And I hated you when you went away'

Powerful stuff.

Saves the Day - Rocks Tonic Juice Magic

Let me take this awkward saw
And run it against your thighs
Cut some flesh away
I'll carry this piece of you with me
Because all I can say tonight
is that I hate you

The Misfits - Die Die My Darling

Die, die, die my darling
Don't utter a single word
Die, die, die my darling
Just shut your pretty mouth

Sublime - SanteriaI don't practice Santeria
I ain't got no crystal ball
Well, I had a million dollars but I, I'd spend it all.
If I could find that Heina, and that Sancho that she's found.
Well, I'd pop a cap in Sancho and I'd slap her down.

Tell Sanchito that if he knows what is good for him he best go run and hide.
Daddy's got a new Forty-Five.
And I won't think twice to stick that barrel straight down Sancho's throat.
Believe me when I say that I got somethin' for his punk ass.

For some stuff that doesn't sound super angry, but is still bitter as all hell:

Weird Al Yankovic- One More Minute. It doesn't sound angry, but he is obviously mad about the breakup.

"I'd rather have my blood sucked out by leeches
Shove an icepick under a toenail or two
I'd rather clean all the bathroom in Grand Central Station with my tongue
Than spend one more minute with you"

Fleetwood Mac- Silver Springs. It sounds sad and heartbroken at first, but that last half is one of the most bitter and resentful break up songs ever.

"Time cast a spell on you but you won't forget me
I know I could've loved you
But you would not let me

Time cast a spell on you but you won't forget me
(I was such a fool)
I know I could've loved you
But you would not let me
(Give me one more chance)
I'll follow you down 'til the sound of my voice
Will haunt you
You'll never get away from the sound
Of the woman that loves you"

Some great choices already. My two favourites;

Bob Dylan - She's Your Lover Now. Quite a funny song that paints an awkward tale of Bob meeting his ex at a party with her new fella, but he spits the lyrics out with real venom. Underrated gem.

Love for both Dylan and Springsteen in the same post? You are awesome.
