The Rocky series was never a realistic approach to boxing though. Super campy if anything. Maybe he's a washed up gatekeeper like Rocky himself?

It was bittersweet. I thought it ended appropriately. At least it didn't have Rocky dying in the ring, like how V was meant to end.

Well the Rocky series always had chronology issues. I mean this is a series that went from 1985 to 1990 over the course of a single plane trip.
