Any flOw PS3 videos from the TGS?

TTP

Have a fun! Enjoy!
I know how it looks on PC. I played and finished it.
Just cruious to see how it looks like on the PS3 in motion (and maybe see some people playing it tilting the controller).

So, are there any videos online?

this is the only thing i have found

Another interesting thing is that SCE Santa Monica stuidios is developing it. So I guess Sony paid the creators to do a complete remake. I'm sure it's not taking away much from the GoW2, they probably just removed 5 guys to make this game. It takes full advantage of the tilt function for movement. I hope we see a lot more downloadable games that are made to take advantage of the title function like Flow. A Mercury port would also kick ass.

Thank you Bad_Boy. Looks awesome. Am I drunk, or is it using actual polygons rather than flat vectors. When the camera zooms is I see "rings" rather than circles...

yep, looks 3d to me. :)

3D polys? Yes. This game looks really neat. I hope they sell it for under $5.

I just watched the Hots Shots Golf 4 TGS interview at gamespot and the producer of the game is from SCE Santa Monica studios too.

Yeah me too as well, considering you can play this for free on the website, it shouldnt cost that much if any at all.

There is nothing to show. It's a 2D bug thing moving around on a blue background. Maybe the dude was telling me to stop shooting because he was embarrassed?

Anyway, you can just play the PC version right here, it's the same thing anyway.

I already played the PC version. :)

I liked the flash version. This definitely looks quite a bit improved and redone in 3D. For what it's worth, Chittagong was saying that it looks a lot better than the flash version, and he liked it when he played it at TGS.

well, there is the motion control...its still interesting in a way to see how they do it.

the only differences seem to be:

-using the sixaxis controller to move around
-high def resolutions
-3d polygons

considered they actually worked on the game (no clue how long for), and made some changes so its not a 100% port, i can imagine it wont be free, but maybe for a very cheap price. under 5 bucks is definately my guess.

but to kinda go OT............

when all these microtransactions start hitting us in the near future, i think it might be smart to buy a 10-20 dollar 'sony card' or 'nintendo card' at your nearest game store for a bunch of these little things they will eventually add. I think it would be overall easier than impulse buying. Having a 'gift card' if you will, does make things easier to lay down a dollar here and 2 dollars there.

for the ones who dont support microtransactions at all, im sure you will take your personal route and just not purchase things at all. i dont knock that. me personally, i dont care too much about microtransactions AS LONG AS they dont charge us up the wahzoo with bullshit prices.

edit:
anyways to get back on fl0w, im now pretty sure it wont be free.

Looks like the Bizarre Creations story and Geowars. Every dev should give people in the team to work on simple games like these, instead of crappy XBLA ports.

Being that the beauty of this game is in its simplicity, I'm glad they didn't add too much and ruin it, but the graphics seem to have gotten a good boost looking at the video.

More that SCE SM produced it, That Game Studio still made the game I'd bet.

Sounds like a personal problem to me.

It also looks like there aren't the 'levels' like in the PC version. You use the tilt controller to go shallower and deeper on the fly, rather than in stages. It would be interesting if the bigger baddies can chase you 'vertically' a bit, too!
