the world ends with you!!! nothing else comes close.

what about action RPGs? and games that aren't english?

You suggested TWEWY before ascertaining whether or not aRPGs are okay? :lol

I dont mind ARPG's the only thing that puts me off WEWY is the kiddie nature and look of it seems like a saturday morning kids cartoon. Might get FFIV but i played through that many times. Also DQ9 should be cool is that out this year in english? Anyway Infinite Undiscovery is gonna be awesome.

TWEWY's aesthetic is more anime than anything else.

DQ9 will probably be out next year. Meantime, you could try stuff like Summon Night, Etrian Odyssey 2, etc.

BTW, how's your GBA jRPG library? I've got some worthwhile recommendations from there.

This. I just picked this up two days ago and love it. I searched everywhere for a copy too, no one had it except for the wal-mart that was blacklisted in my city.

Not really into RPG's on GBA as its an old system that wouldnt impress me gameplay wise or graphically.

I enjoyed Contact for the first 8 hours, around Christmas. Since then I've only made it to 9 hours though. The hassle of changing suits was honestly the main thing that threw me off it, as it was just getting too much and seemed needlessly cumbersome. I liked the battle system though.

Stick with one suit. The game doesn't force you to use all of them(most of the time), and if you focus on one you'll be able to get better skills from it. I only found out after winning the game that the aqua suit can give you a healing skill(the only way in the entire game to heal without using an item).

Anyway, Contact and Shiren are my favorite two, though the latter, as a roguelike, probably isn't what the OP wants. (I haven't played EO.)

Maybe it's not too popular around these parts given its age... but what about Mario & Luigi: Partners In Time? While it's not as good as it's predecessor on the gba (Superstar Saga) it's still a fun RPG with a great sense of humor.

Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core is the greatest handheld RPG ever created.

Crisis Core was pretty disappointing for me. It was just too damn easy. The missions were so bland and boring, there was no variety in them whatsoever and they used the same locations over and over again. Not only that, but once you did a few of the missions, you became so overpowered that the rest of the game was a total breeze =/. The battle system was pretty weak as well with the annoying slot machine. The only thing that kept me going was the story and info, since I love FFVII.
