A new title update for DOOM (2016) has just introduced deathmatch and private matches, but apparently there was meant to be information on the Arcade mode during a reveal on September 13th?

Have I missed something or did the reveal get delayed?

What are people expecting from arcade mode if there is no solid information? If it's anything like the TimeSplitters version with bots and challenges it'll be sick.

It's a mode where you're scored based on your performance in the campaign.

Any new campaign stuff would be great... Not bothered about 'scoring' mode tbh

If they add scoring to the game I might actually reinstall it and try playing it again. I really couldn't find a reason to re-play the campaign but a scoring system would make me do it.

Scoring is nice with a game with such gameplay like this, but I really want to know what happens after that ending.

It's the best first person shooter I've played in years. Non-stop carnage but the game has brilliant pace as the hidden extras and secrets stashed away in every mission let you go off the beaten track and explore.

It's fast and frantic. If you're into heavy music it's even better because it's got one of the best OST's I've heard in a long time.

For me it was a huge throwback to the days of playing old first person shooters on PS2/Gamecube/Xbox

It's simple and a blast from the past. It doesn't try to be anything it's not. Seriously, turn it on.

Saw the multiplayer characters and was immediately disappointed.

Anything on the multiplayer-side of this game is a no-go for me. Guess we'll have to wait until Doom 2 still.

Will it be multi disc? The "unofficial" soundtrack has so much ambient tracks that I hope he cuts back on for the official version.

Been listening to all the mixes people have been putting out, and seeing Mick himself commenting on some of the YouTube videos telling them what they missed, but still complimenting their mixes was a great tease.
