Any opinions on Uniqlo?

My wardrobe is almost exclusively uniqlo. Great clothes for a good price. One of the few stores that have fitting sizes for me.

Yep, most of my stuff is from there now. Any time I go into London I visit a store, don't always get anything but have to look about. I have about 20-30 pairs of UQ coloured socks at least!

I am not into the collabs though, as I don't wear graphic printed stuff. But I have a ultra down jacket which is great, airism and heatteach shirts, fleeces, shirts, jeans, sweaters. Everything is great quality.

I'm a big fan of Muji's jeans. I bought a couple pairs in Osaka this past April. I've got a size 30 waist, but had to buy the largest size over there. Hehe. Also got some great long-sleeved plaid button up shirts.

I liked a lot of their sweaters and button-ups actually. Last year, I was nearly tempted into buying two baseball raglands but decided to hold off on them. Maybe this year I might finally pick up something.

Nishikori vs. Djokovic last saturday sure made a great advert for the brand, as well as the US Open match back in august. Never bought Uniqlo, but they aren't exactly easy to find where I live.

not a fan of how their collab shirts have a different fit than their regular tees

i get a small from their sprz collection and it's really boxy :| but I'm too big for an xs

Their online website is fantastic.

Countless times ive ordered on a bussiness day, ships same day, and i recieve my order the next day through Fedex, helps that their warehouse is just in Jersey.

I never heard of Uniqlo until I came to Korea (there wasn't one in Houston), but it's my go-to place for clothes now. I realy like their stuff.

My favourite clothing chain. Pretty good basics for decent price and good quality overall. All my tees, underwear, shirts and even jeans are Uniqlo. They also had really sweet Evangelion t-shirts, and I was lucky to grab a really cool limited edition parka for cheap.

Really good basics. They're good to pair with more stylish accents.

Not a place where I would buy everything from though since wearing 100% Uniqlo is often very plain.

Agreed. Most of the t-shirts I buy from Uniqlo are often UT collabs because otherwise, everything else is quite plain. I'd say that other than UT collabs, their fleece jackets and flannel shirts are the only items that end up with some funky patterns.

That said, for needing simple and plain looking basics, Uniqlo is definitely the go-to place.

their OCBD's are the best for under $100, i just wish they wouldn't fuck with the sizing and material every year.

I use them for the Heat-Tech stuff, boxers and socks. The t-shirt designs are awesome sometimes (the unique collections) but the fit is terrible (at least the ones they got here in Japan).
I also like their winter stuff, pretty lightweight, simple in design and warm.

Pretty much everything I buy now is from Uniqlo. When I first moved to Japan I was a bit too fat to fit into the largest size they sell here (LL is basically L in US) but after losing a butt load of weight their stuff fits perfectly now. Their jeans fit great, japan denim and are really comfortable. Even skinny jeans which is something I never wore before.

Though an American Eagle is opening in my town this month. I used to wear a bunch of their stuff in the US so I'm looking forward to having a bit more than Uniqlo...

if the prices in europe are anything to go by it's going to be expensive compared to the states

Felt like I bought out the whole store when I was in Ginza recently. Pretty much unbeatable for basics. Great fit (on t-shirts in particular), good fabrics that don't fall apart when you wash them, huge product line to fit any needs, minimal/no branding, and prices that could make you think you're in Walmart.

I wear uniqlo now. I'm too lazy to go to any other shop.

I'm also not into those grungy teen style places so there's really nowhere else to go...

Ugh. I hate jeans that are stiff. I mean, why? Its so uncomfortable. Plus, they look awful. I tried on some 7 for all mankind jeans at Nordstrom last Friday. They run $200 a pop. They felt good; almost like they stretch a bit? Anyway, not sure. Slimfit was tight, and the other style that starts with a C didn't feel right. I should've tried the regular fit.

I think levis are good enough. I like jeans that light and soft.

I wish they had one open in Toronto.

What's general consensus on urban outfitters

UO has some pretty good stuff in their feathers brand, they also sell some more expensive brand name stuff, and occasionally you'll find some weirder stuff like Raf Simons.

I order a lot from them online. I really like their long sleeve shirts and hoodies. Although I noticed that for flannel shirts I need to size down to a small, where as everything else I get medium.

Ended up picking up two heattech short-sleeve tees after work.

Prefer them to the long-sleeved version when wearing as an undershirt.

I've heard their shirts run kinda short. Is that true? I am 6'3 so I usually need to wear a tall, especially since I like to wear my pants on my hips and not the waist. Will anything fit?

What size are we talking here? I'm slightly taller than that and XL runs a good length for me.

i love them, they sometimes have game collaboration shirts (MGS and MH comes to mind), always buy a few if i see one that i like

Well, I am pretty thin so I usually like to go with a medium. Large is doable, but anything bigger than that and it looks like I am swimming in my shirt.

I don't think medium would be long enough. I've tried L and it was an acceptable length but XL is the best at our height.

My last Uniqlo order totally sucked, I bought 6-8 things and returned everything. I normally love their Ts but these were scratchy and crappy and fit weird. The pants were nice fabric but weird fit. And the "brown" heattech stuff was not brown... the color was indistinguishable from black.

That said, I'm wearing an old Uniqlo tshirt and sweater right now and this stuff is comfortable, nice, and has held up really well for 4+ years.

Muji socks = best socks
