any other dads have a hard time finding time to game?

I have a 12 year old, an 8 year old and a 1 year old. My game time is late nights after everyone has gone to sleep, but I am an insomniac so it's a decent amount of time. Probably half of my gaming time is in bed, my wife reads or surfs on her tablet while I game next to her. Certainly helps having an understanding gamer wife. Portable gaming is a lifesaver, I can get in 5 solid hours of Vita/3DS time per week just in lunch breaks alone.

Dad of 2. Boy is 5, girl 3. I used to hammer the games when they were all in bed but more recently I'm finding I need to book time and make sure it's a killer game before taking advantage of their sleep. My thoughts now gravitate towards family / work life instead of the next kill streak. It's probably an age thing as well. I'm 36 now and gaming has lost some of its appeal. Looking forward to bloodborne, then Arkham Knight but gone are the days of staying up late to play CoD and BF and having a backlog.

Although my son is mad for games. Introduced him to Knack, put it on easy mode and he loved it. Seriously, that game is great for his age and ability. It's fun watching him play and enjoy it like when I was his age playing harrier attack on my cpc 464. The circle is complete!

I have 4 kids ranging from 5 months to 15 years old. I haven't necessarily found myself with less game time than I had in my youth - it's the other stuff I used to do that's suffered.

Some of it is things I'd have given up anyway - I quit playing in a band years ago, I don't think I've set foot into a nightclub in over a decade etc. I probably should spend a lot more time exercising and stuff like that.

No chance in hell I could keep up with gaming socially though. Closest I've been able to get a bunch of people together to play online in years was one night we got a session of Left 4 Dead 2 going. Just one night! My teenage son plays CS:GO with his buddies every night, but that's because they're all on the same schedule.
