Windows. Even when the blinds are closed I'm thinking there is something or someone out there trying to look through them.

Open doors are another. If my door is open I constantly have to look out to make sure I'm not being watched.

The darkness in general. If I'm ina dark room I seem to periodically get the feeling that someone or something is in the room. I have a bat next to my bed just in case.

Yeah totally. In fact, I'd rather not have any windows at all. I always think someone is looking!

You should watch this movie:

I'm kind of the same way. I seriously hate living/sleeping in one story houses, which unfortunately I can't avoid now...

Is your house built on an ancient burial site?

Stay away from the TV, too.

Hell yeah, I usually put a blanket over the window. Sometimes it sags though and I gotta go get some nails and nail it up there as the thumb tacks don't suffice.

I've lived in my current place 2 years and the blinds have never been opened. Ever.

I can indeed relate.

But then again, most of my windows face the street.

I feel like this all the time when I'm alone and it's dark. Like right now. :(

I think you're being ridiculous. The odds of someone actually standing outside your window and looking in are miniscule. By the way, is that Crystal Pepsi you're drinking any good? I've been meaning to try it myself.

I'm going to venture a guess that it's the bat watching you.

When I stayed on campus I had a 2nd story room where the entire wall was a window facing parking lot. I walked around nude with the blinds up basically the entire time.

Yes! All the time!

I'm always afraid some guy will run up to our sliding glass patio doors and want in, or just watch through the windows.

Also I get the shit scared out of me in a dark room with a mirror, ever since a myth that you'd see the image of a ghost or your face changing into something horrific if you stared long enough. That wsa when I was 9, stuck with me ever since then... God damn books.

What I really hate is when you're at the computer all alone at night and no one else is home and you hear a noise, and wonder if you remembered to lock the back door/any door. Then you hear the noise again and it's obviously only a noise a human could make. It gets worse when you get the balls to check the door and find that it WAS unlocked, and then you don't have the nerve to move for three hours because you keep hearing a creaking noise in your house and don't want to lock yourself in the same building with a madman. It's even worse when the power goes out.

Weren't you afraind someone would snipe you from the parking lot as you danced nude to Vengaboys, and clutched your teddy bear?

yeah i just hate when that happens!

I share this fear as well. I would like to think it is irrational but too many times now that I've got that "someone is watching" feeling, the home owner sneaks up behind me and screams at me to get away from their windows. Creepy sh*t.

When in the US: Im on the 8th floor. If youre looking in, you deserve to look in.

In Brasil: If youre looking in the window, you got over the electric fence.

Only at night, I can't stand having my blinds open at night when I have a light on, because you can't see outside but people can see inside extremely easily.

It doesn't bother me as much if my window is up high enough, but currently my window is at ground level, I have to keep it locked or someone could literally slide it open and walk right into the house.

Fixed. I'd say this is closer to reality. :D

In holland you can see into everybodys house on the ground floor and they never close the curtains, took me a while to get used to but now I'm the same.

I also sleep under my ground floor open window that is streetside. One time I awoke to the sound of a homeless man singing as he went through my garbage. It was nice because he sounded upbeat.

Stop watching porn.

I don't care at all, and do everything in plain sight. Walk in the nude, touch myself in funny places, sleep, exercise... everything. Ok, I live in the fourth (top) floor in a block of flats, but the people in the neighbouring buildings can still watch me if they like. And I like to pretend that they do.

Don't watch The Descent if you are scared of the dark, and if you live in a cave

hahaha I can agree about the windows and open doors... the darkness... no.

:lol I never thought so many of you would actually have this problem. i dont feel anything like that at all. Seriously think about it, what is the chance that when you open your blinds there will be somoen at your window who has been trying to spy on you?

God, what are you? 8? Afraid of the dark?

Not so much the dark, but what's hiding IN the dark.

Psychologically, that means you're afraid of new experiences or something.

Time to cut back on the tweak, my friend. Put it down and get some rest.
