Remember when we had bigger screen iPhones to look forwards to? Or a mini sized iPad? Or an ultra-thin iPad? Or a giant iPad? Or an entirely new product category with Apple Watch? Or a retina MacBook and iMac? Or an all new Mac Pro with a revolutionary form factor? Or an all new Apple TV with a new OS and remote?
That was all in the last few years. What do we have to look forwards to now?
"Remember when we had slightly different iPhones and slightly different iPads and nicer MacBooks and iMacs? Remember when the Mac Pro went without a significant spec bump for four years? And the Apple TV got a shitty new remote and the App Store it should've gotten years ago?"
Basically everything you just said but the Apple Watch and maybe the Mac Pro is as iterative and evolutionary as anything else they've done over the past few years. If rumors are correct there's as much to look forward to soon as ever - Skylake 12" MacBooks with more capable processors, Skylake MacBook Pros with significant redesigns, a 4" iPhone updated with 6S specs, a 9.7" iPad with iPad Pro specs, a new Watch in the fall, new iPhones in the fall... iPhones with dual-cameras, Watches with blood pressure monitors, iPhones with OLED further down the road.
Also, the "giant iPad" and the "all new Apple TV" were announced just
six months ago, along with:
1. The iPad mini 4.
2. The iPhone 6S and 6S Plus.
3. Skylake 27" iMacs.
4. Broadwell and Retina 21.5" iMacs.
5. iOS 9.
6. OS X El Capitan.
7. New Watch bands, including Hermes.
8. Gold and Rose Gold Apple Watch Sports.
9. New Mac keyboard, trackpad, and mouse.
All that in the past six months, and you're complaining they just aren't doing enough.
