Still rocking a 4S. Hope this helps with some battery issues. My phone is basically useless when it's not charging in about 2 hours of normal use.

What the fuck, my iTunes don't recognize my iPhone when not connected anymore. Am I gonna have to give up WiFi syncing?

So the drop down Spotlight still lags on both iPad Air and iPhone 4s and there is still no trace of iTunes Radio in Italy.

Useless update to me since aside the Spotlight i had no problem with 7.0, disappointed as fuck.

Finally I can turn the parallax zoom off when setting a wallpaper. The faster animations make the phone feel so much snappier.

Cools, this one didn't break my app.

gbaios works just tested.

still have to mess with the date, but afterwards its gravy.

Same here. I only seem to have to touch the date if I quit the app in the task manager. For example, I did the iOS update, and could launch it immediately after it finished updating.

Spotlight lag®, present since always.

- Improved performance for iPhone 4

Aww yeah, I never had a problem with it tbh but more speed is always welcome.

Updated my iPhone 5 to iOS 7.1 and it's very snappy! I mean, it wasn't really slow or anything before. But now it's even faster and that's great.

So iOS 7.1 also has the CarPlay feature, but I'm wondering how that's going to work. All the CarPlay promotional images show the Honda Civic using CarPlay, and I just bought a 2014 Honda Civic EX like two weeks ago. So I'm wondering if there's going to be an update from Honda somehow to allow me to use CarPlay? They did say it will be compatible with 2014 Honda models and that is the car they're using in promo images. I'm just confused as to how that will happen. Anyone have any thoughts on how this would work?

Have they fixed the iPhone 4 yet? I still wish I could go back to IOS6.

As well as the fixes mentioned above targetting the 4 specifically, enabling the "Reduce Motion" and "Increase Contrast" options in accessibility really improves the performance on iPhone 4 - at least for me it did.

Is it just me, or is location services always on now?

Before it would just open when certain apps open, but now it's always on.
I read on another forum that the Apple Store app (not the App Store, but the actual Apple Store app) keeps it on so check that app and maybe disable it for that.

Trying to clear up space to install the update and it's showing that I have 3.5 gb of Saved messages, which is bullshit since I clear out old messages regularly. Googling this shows this widespread issue that has a completely convoluted work-around/solution. What a bunch of crap. There's not much more I can delete to make space at this point.

Yeah, it's a known bug. Update through iTunes and you don't have to free space.

I like almost everything about it, but the change done to shift button on the keyboard is mind numbingly counter intuitive. In the default state, I *always* think the shift is pressed due to the white arrow, and how different it looks from 123 button underneath, and then when you press it, starts looking like other buttons (white bg, black symbol) which makes it look unpressed. I've been using beta for as long as it existed and I could never get used to this. Was really hoping it would not survive for the final version.

I may have to at this point. I haven't connected this phone to a computer yet, just did everything via wi-fi and iCloud, but I don't have much of a choice now.

Really want to upgrade already but I'm trying to hold out for the 6.

no one really knows yet. you might have to take it to the dealer for them to flash your entertainment unit.

worst case is you have to buy a brand new one.

Is there a way to make the sub menus (like the ones between an app group or the tray) transparent again? I don't like the opaque backgrounds

nvm found it
