Much needed weapons balance pass which addresses things like the sticher and the bobcat, for starters. The list of current grievances among players is actually quite comprehensive. Check back in this thread for further info.

The stitcher and bobcat are only effective in certain PVP scenarios.

"certain" meaning close quarters. In all other scenarios weapons like the arpeggio and renegade are far more effective.

There comes a point where you need to ask yourself if you're actually using the tools at your disposal or not. In most cases I'm not even firing back at people, particularly out in the open, 3 snitch scanners and a lure grenade will take care of them for me.

The renegade is a beast level 2 and higher. The TTK is superb.

With a stitcher III and a couple of attachments I am absolutely gunning down a arpeggio user. Probably even with a level II.

At range, you don't want to be using either weapon, but I'd still have more confidence in an upgraded stitcher while I was rapidly closing the person down.

Snitch scanners are comedy gold but you cant throw them very far. A catapult for them would be nice.

Sitting in a watch tower in spaceport and chucking a few at the extract never gets old though.

The new store set looks great, but you cant buy it for raider tokens, because it comes with 2400 token aswell so it costs 20 euro instead

A Stitcher doesn't beat a arpeggio mid range unless the guy firing it is a mong.

I have 300 hours in game and have not come across any cheaters that I'm aware of.
I don't doubt your experience, but exploiting and cheating has definitely been ramping up

Juat another example. And these cheaters were not even streamsniping

To be fair, just about every pvp type game online has this problem.

No doubt. Popular gamess attract cunts. Like I said I've not been a victim of it yet that I'm aware of.

Streamers moaning about cheaters is as old as time. Mainly in my opinion because the best normally get matched with people who the system also thinks is of a similar skill or playstyle. For normal plebs like myself i've never found it to be that much of an issue in most games. Warzone being the only offender in recent memory for me personally

He dosent confirm that, he only says that they analyze players behavior, but dosent say anything about matchmaking for that data.
It's also incredibly vague. People are assuming you're just being placed with like minded individuals but for all we know Embark is using the data to keep servers balanced with pve and pvp minded players. There is tons of anecdotal evidence and confirmation bias going on.

i don't know how common behavior based matchmaking is in this type of games, is it common? along with the in-game voice changer.
Either way, its pretty clever. Like minded people end up with other like mindedness which really brings out the community sharing with wildly diverse gaming expereinces.

It is not common nor is matching based on squad size. Something like Tarkov will just pit you against who ever, can have solo players up against squads, friendlier people vs aggressive players, it really keeps the "anything can happen at anytime" and serves to keep you on your toes at all times. AR is an incredibly casualized extraction shooter and to me removes most of the fun this genre provides.

Which happens. Let's face it these largely imaginary scenarios don't really happen often at all and the arpeggio user didn't even see the stitcher coming. And if the ranges are slightly suboptimal then he's probably being kettled, anviled, or renegaded anyway, because to use the arpeggio against players is a natural handicap.

I didn't read patch notes bit it seems they nerfed the free loadouts? Less bullets in your loadout for light ammo guns like stitcher and more in a clip for rattler.

Solid adjustments.

Seems like a decent patch all round tbh. The cold maps are nice.

Still would like to see a wider TTK gap on the weapons but i get they want everything to be viable, just a bit too close for my tastes as it is.

Blue print buff seems like its done to persuade more people to reset. Had five in the last hour.

Unlike another game where the shotgun can 2 tap, and a rail gun feels like heaven to hit with.

3 more months :(

Yea not a fan of this. They did this in THE FINALS but that was understandable being a free to play game. What if I don't need any more credits and just want the cosmetic? Too bad.

Firstly it's from an art director, so should be taken with a grain of salt and secondly, how do we know they aren't using that to put people in "balanced" lobbies? Players claim a lot but all I'm seeing is anecdotal evidence and confirmation bias. We won't know how this actually comes into play unless they specifically state it.

Either way they have to be vague about it and will never give out the actual recipe because they don't want to give out their mix to their competitors

I only played like 2 hours before work and found like 5 blueprints already. Im pretty sure they gonna patch this tomorrow before i can play again

Some thoughts after the patch (PS5):

* Seems like the game runs better. They have probably turned on Vsync, 'cause I havent seem screen tearing ever since and framepacing is smooth.
* Blueprints drop is just ridiculous now. Hopefuly they will patch it, 'cause I've found 4 blueprints in 2 Stella matches.
* Shredder was already a beast, but now it's a menace lol. That damn thing is fast now, holy shit.

Had a fun match where I droped on a Doubles match all by myself. Got downed by a group, but my charisma saved me lol.

Once they knew I was alone, I was adopted. And now I have 2 new online friends.

Game gets better and better

Oddly enough I got screen tearing for the first time ever today. On ps5 pro. Very noticeable.

I really really want to see shredders on all maps now, especially since they buffed them. Hopefully early next year

Can confirm.

My games are almost all PVP until I'm skint and need to do a few stealth loot runs then the game calms down a bit after a few extracts, just a bit mind. Not tested it over longer periods as my natural instinct is to shoot on sight.
I can also confirm. Took me 3 matches with no guns and no kills, to flip the lobbies. In ~20 games I got shot 3 times. I ran and looted among fellow raiders and the few times anyone did PvP, all would shout out towards the perpetrator - like they did something wrong lol. When I got shot I lost ~2000 worth of gear (looting mk1 and 5 adrenaline shots) and felt pretty good knowing that the dude with trash aim were going straight to PvP lobbies
