Arcana Heart Coming To The US?

I don't generally like loli characters, but I love how the smallest fighter in the game is the strongest, "Zangief-like" of the bunch. :lol

By the way: I have been witness to a CREEPY, SWEATY, DID I SAY CREEPY? Otaku type in the arcades playing the game's story mode and dripping buckets of body water while smiling at every new screen. Scary, scary shit.

Seriously, some of the "otaku" stuff I've run into here makes me long for the days of the annoying game dorks and kids I used to get when I worked at a game store back home.

Wow i just saw this in my email, late to the party indeed.

Not exactly what im looking for but definitely the second best announcement of the year so far (below baroque)

Went to a convention before...I was afraid to touch a pad. They had this like force field of grease surrounding the controller and protecting it:lol This isn't a joke sadly enough...

That's some pretty awful/generic character designs there, Jesus. Even if the gameplay is amazing, there's no way I'd look at that box in a store and want to pick it up.

Otaku are creepy period, try talking to then in an anime convention.

I guarantee that while there are fun ones who are interesting, there are other ones that you want to shed a tear for.

That's too bad. It's an awesome fighter. Some of them also have less-than-generic attacks compared to other fighting games, too.

No, I'm talking O.G. Otaku here. Japanese. They're on a whole 'nother level of creepiness.

Yeah, that creepy is a whole other level.

Just read Genshiken or Welcome to NHK

Hmmm... We got our preview build of the game Friday and I decided to take it home for the weekend to see what all the fuss was about. I have noooo idea what the hell is going on. I just went with my gut, opted for the robo-girl with huge... eyes, and button mashed my way through the first Story Mode fight before getting creamed on the second. Since neither the game nor the press materials really explained the basic or core gameplay, are there any resources out there to help a clueless chump get up to speed a little. The air dashes and super-jumps seem pretty cool, and I like that the stages were apparently designed to be a lot more vertical than horizontal, but I'm still rather lost.

That's exactly what I was looking for, thanks a million, dude. I'm actually rather impressed; the arcana system adds some interesting wrinkles to the different movesets, and the air-based nature of combat and generally twitchy feel is definitely... different.

Of course, if the game didn't have one of those stupid end game boss fights that are impossibly hard, it'd be a little more enjoyable when playing solo. Grrr...
