Are these good gaming LCE/LED monitors?

There's some good ASUS monitors up to 23" in the $180-$200 range online. :)

Which is quite awesome to see! Think I'll have to get a VGA cord for my pre-HDMI 360 too, though... (Would that require an additional sound output cord too, since those TVs have no traditional AV inputs?) Those ASUS have pretty awesome stats for the price. They're all smaller than my 30 inch or so SD TVs, so that's gonna feel kinda weird.

But as long as my pixely Arcade games and more modern 3D games look good on it, I'll be happy in the end.

Hmm...VGA didn't look so hot when I tried it. HDMI looks a shit-ton better, -but- that was when I was running my monitor at 16:10.

Bought the HP 2310m. Looks great; the colors pop as advertised. But there's just one problem: It's bright. INSANELY bright. To the point that I am getting severe eyestrain from using it. Turning down the brightness to 0 helps, but it still seems to hurt my eyes and when you dull the screen, the colors are dulled too.

So I am returning it back to Amazon. Ordered the ASUS LED-backlit monitor instead. It's got a matte screen so hopefully I won't be experiencing eyestrain again.
