Tretorn has some amazing sneakers if you ask me:

I get the complaint with too glossy (even though I don't think the trainers in question are), but not glossy at all kind of limits your options too much.

Oh I almost forgot, I was walking past Foot Locker today and saw these hideous monstrosities in the window:

What the fuck.

That shop has the worst stock man.

Bought these in the end. No controversy.

Great shoes.

Also saw this picture posted by Suits on Facebook today:

I was blown away by the choice of shoes. That's how you do a "used shoe", look. When they look as if you've just splattered paint on them, they move into some post-modernistic "breaking the wall" part of artistic expression. It's not conveyed well with a shoe. Of course, when we're talking post-modernistic, that might be the point, but, well. It doesn't look good.

All shoes ITT are ugly. That's just reality. Though at least OP bought less offensive ones vs. those in the...OP.

and here i was hoping there would be some inspirational images to select from

I don't want my unrivalled taste to offend plebes ( ≖‿≖)

Not a fan of clunkier looking sneakers / shoes in general, though. Air Maxes becoming popular in Tokyo after years of new balance dominance = sad.

You have no idea what you're talking about. Please continue preaching to your non-existent audience.

common projects are much more reasonably priced at $400-$600

Left hand picture I think looks great, but that right hand picture with the shoes + suit looks off to me. Nothing fits right, and the shoes seem to accentuate that.

If that's the style he's going for though, more power to him.

my shoes were $30. shoes are weird because changing your main pair never feels right until you wear the new pair for like a week. like you look down and think these aren't my shoes! who am I?! haha

I'm the opposite. Love the feeling of wearing new shoes. I typically wear a different pair of sneakers every day of the week.

I can't pull off the flat sneaker look. I always associate it with thinner younger people. Also thin shoes in general look weird on me. I need a thick shoe/boot/basketballshoe or I look unbalanced.
