Are Vizio TV's any good?

Yes they are. I have owned multiple over the years. I currently have a 70 razer from them. I had a bright pixel and they sent a few guys out to my place and they swapped it right off the wall for a new one. Us based support with easy to talk to people.

I use mine for gaming and never experienced input lag.

yup, mine is fine for gaming. some models have input lag and some don't just like with all other brands. people need to do some research. seems like the negative Nancies here don't even own one.

A few years ago I picked up an E320 ( 32" LED) at Walmart on the cheap and LOVED it.

When it was time to upgrade my living room TV I decided to go Vizio again and got a 55" E Series 3D Smart TV. So far so good, great picture and I love the smart features. Both tv's have basically converted me to Vizio after having Sony's, Samsung's, and Panasonic's all my life.

I have a M47" and its good but ive noticed when watching football and the camera pans quickly to right or left - theres background vertical white/ghosting lines - does anyone know what this is actually called? When theres a close up or im watching a movie - dont notice it

Lot of people in here saying you can do better, but can you really justify a 2-3k TV these says when a Vizio 50" is under $700 with an amazing package for the price?

I have the 2013 E series in 60". It's the one that CNET gave such a good review on. I used to have a 46" Samsung LED/LCD. Honestly the Vizio picture is just as good as the previous Samsung. I have had some niggling firmware issues with the Vizio though, most of which have been ironed out with firmware updates. The one thing that still remains is that Game mode sometimes doesn't activate when I turn on the TV, even though the setting says Game Mode = On. If I just go to Game Mode and click On (even though it already says it's on), it will turn it on. Most of the time Game Mode DOES turn on when I turn on the TV, but sometimes not. It's gotten to the point where every time I turn on the TV I just go turn Game Mode On just to be sure. The difference in input lag is extremely noticeable. I think it's around 30 ms with game mode on. Not the best, but tolerable for me.

When is the p series dropping? Just see "fall 2014" so far...

Should be soon. There is supposedly a launch event scheduled in September. Amazon have most of the models listed for purchase with their blanket 6-8 week estimate, though it's often much sooner. I'm hoping to buy the 50" as a PC monitor provided they're not a piece of shit or laggy.

I've had one for 7 years, and I can't complain. I'm in the market to upgrade and I'll most likely go with Vizio again.

I have a Vizio 55" and I'm definitely not complaining. It looks good when I'm playing video games and watching tv, which is all I care about

I bought at e550i-b2 and ended up returning it due to a cluster of stuck pixels, bad/dead wifi, and the set would lock up when in the menus. I ended up going with a samsung, but I think I just got a dud as I have friends that have them with no problems at all.

currently in the market for a 65" and ive been eyeing the M and E series. i want the M, but im trying to convince myself that the extra couple hundred over the E series isnt worth it. maybe.

The 2014 M-B series is very laggy, even in game mode.

I've got one of the first generation smart 55" vizeos. Solid TV apart from the horrible lag. Made rockband unplayable.

I've had a 42" VT420M since 2010. Works like a champ, only have minor issues these days. Wouldn't recommend them to anyone with a lot of dough to spend cause there are likely some much better tv's in higher price brackets, but if you're on a budget, I can vouch for em.

I hada 60" E series. After two replacements (one would shut off on its own constantly, the other had a broken stand and a terrible, splotchy panel) I returned it to amazon a year later for a full refund. What a piece of shit. I replaced it with a Samsung UNH6400. Much better picture and much higher quality.

I also have a 42" E series for the bedroom that's unacceptably slow and cant even run Hulu or Netflix reliably. Fuck Vizio.

My first HD TV was a Vizio 32" that I bought in 2008. I gave it to my dad after his 27" CRT finally crapped out. It still works perfectly fine.

Yeah, if you're on a budget Vizio's are a good choice. If you can splurge a bit, then sure, go higher.
