Are you easily offended or upset?

Nah, I dont get offended unless my reaction to something would be comedic. Its hard for me ro grasp how some people get offended easily this day and age.

I'm pretty hardened in my old age. I don't think there's anything that anyone could possibly say or do to offend me.

Nah I'm actually really laid unless I woke up in a bad humor. When that happens is just pure rage .

Sometimes like today was gonna be a good day but I fuckin fell balls deep into a manhole and that completely ruined what otherwise would be a perfect day (got off work early). Fuck me and my poor car and fuck this fuckers that won't fix this shit quick

This thread is only really gonna draw in people who are not easily offended. No one wants to come in here and say "Yes, I get offended very easily," because no one really wants to believe that about themselves.

That said, it is very, very hard to offend me. None of the topics that seem to offend gaffers on a regular basis cause me to bat an eye.

No. Easy to ignore something if it bothers me.

I can recognize that someone's offended by something, I can be sensitive to that, without finding their reasoning for it to be legitimate or reasonable.

Good example was the recent-ish thread about the ad in which Sara Silverman was undergoing surgery to become a man so she could earn a man's wage. Several people thought that it was disparaging and made light of trans issues. I thought that stance was very narrow-minded and 100% misssng the point, but I'd never tell anyone not to be offended by something they're offended by. I'd just tell them why I'm not.

It depends on my mood, if I'm close to my special time of the month then everything makes me cry, everything upsets me. Usually things don't bother me easily though, at least if it's online because it's easy to ignore.

I'm upset you made this thread. And I'm offended you didn't PM me beforehand to make sure it was okay for you to do so.

Edit:

As a matter of fact, fuck you motherfucker, friend.

Everyone gets offended for different reasons. It's best to not act like you're above it all.

Like the OPs problem with the voices in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel:

Hahahahahaha, yeah that's just hyperbole, my friend. I was joshing around; however it still is racist.

Not really, there are hardly things that offend me and hurt me personally. I, however, can feel empathy and I am able to express disapproval for attitudes that hurt others.

I don't particularly take helpful and/or unhelpful criticism exceedingly well.

So I suppose I am somewhat easily offended.

Racial stereotyping that make Australians seem stupid. Would you accept the same if they were representing the Chinese stereotype?

As for the "getting Australians to do the voice acting", well true but they have thickened up the accent to represent how Americans think Australians sound.

Example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=65FLP1ChetI

I donno. If the developers were Chinese and they hired Chinese voice actors, then I think I'd be okay with it? Unless the game is bad. But that's a different fish to fry!

Nope, it's pretty impossible to offend me. I feel bad for people who feel the need to be outraged or upset about stupid shit.

I hate other drivers.

YES

How dare they be on the road when I am on the road! UGH.

Also bicyclists drive me up the waaaaaallllllllllll .... and slow trucks! and pedestrians that cross wherever they wantsssss..... and people who donno where they are going and takes forever to turn.... and drivers who signals TOO FUCKING EARLY and taxies who cut across your lanes at whims!!!! UGH UGH
jk im actually a very timid driver :x

The only time I'm really upset is when I'm attacked personally on a subject that I've got a lot of my own anxiety about, like my history of depression/self-mutilation, struggles with weight-loss or my incompetence. It's not so much that they're upsetting me but it's like, validation of what I've already thought of.

That being said, the last time I got really upset/angry was when my third consecutive bike last year got stolen from my porch. Definitely punched a wall on that one.

Nah, not really. If someone says something outrageous to me I'll just laugh and then make fun of them behind their back.

I do get annoyed a lot, but I don't let it affect my actions. I just then complain about it to people later.

I don't have road rage!
