I'll think about it. I have more than enough controllers, but the light actuation force of the face buttons on the Steam Deck is real good, much better than 8bitdo. So yeah, if it's the same I'll consider it.

Added to cart but it's not letting me check out :(

Looks like my order went through. It was stuck on the Payment details for a good 30 seconds but I just kept hitting the button and it eventually went through.

There seems to have been an error initializing or updating your transaction. Please wait a minute and try again or contact support for assistance.

God hates me.

did you guys not buy Steam wallet credit before today? dont use CC or PayPal when everyone else is, just pre-buy credit.
I have more than enough in my Steam wallet, still won't let me check out

I kept getting the checkout error and kept retrying. It eventually went through. I hope I did not get charged for all of those attempts. Gabe is going to owe me a Steam Machine. :messenger_tears_of_joy:

Well my wife is giving me "the stare". Tried for 10 minutes to check out and no luck. If it's still available tonight I'll grab one otherwise I guess maybe I'll pick one up if they're eventually available.

My transaction finally completed with Steam Wallet funds. Got it placed 6 minutes after 10am Pacific. For me, tax and shipping was included in the $99.99 price (I'm in California), so it is a better price than I originally thought.

Is there a limit of 1 or 2? I know three is out of the question. Won't let me pay with my Steam Wallet.
It limits to 2 per order, but I think you can purchase more than that. I already purchased one, and it allows me to add two more to the cart. Maybe there is a check for how many have already been purchased before the final checkout step.

Almost certainly be patched post launch and there is a software solution already.
Maybe, the first Steam Controller was also not very useful outside of Steam. I do recognize a fundamental difference with the lack of a second analog, but Valve has yet to show an interest in there controllers playing nicely with other software.

In saying that, I hope they do. I want to have a reason to get one.

Edit: I forgot to mention, I stream to tablet and Quest devices often. The current 3rd party software wouldn't help in that use case.

I only have the one credit card on file with them. Theres 16 bucks in my steam wallet. It's not letting me add money to the wallet either much less the controller in the cart. :(
