Ark: Survival Evolved - PS4/ Pro/ Xbox One Final Game Frame-Rate Test

Yikes, have the game on PC their optimizations on that end actually gave good improvements to where I can actually play it at 50-60fps now on a i5 4690k@4.7Ghz/1080, at 1440p max settings with debri density turned down a notch. Game is still not perfect and devs are still shit tho. Glad I only payed $20 for this garbage.

Dude my cousin had enough to buy either this or Witcher 3 on sale and he didn't listen to me. The kind of influence videos on youtube have on young kids is nuts.

If console users want a game to do with these kinda animals then get Dragons Dogma: DA and Monster Hunter World instead

Both 100x better than this trash of a excuse of a game don't support this

Following the YouTube craze

He bought it digital on psn store. Was trying to get him to get something like Horzion or Witcher but now he stuck with this POS.

I think Sony/Microsoft should have some standards when it comes to performance, rock solid 30fps should be the bare minimum, if you can't hit that then you're not going on the platform.

It's ugly and runs horrible on consoles after 2 years of Game Preview on Xbox. Even in single player bad framerate and constant freezes. I am aware development doesn't work like that and all, but interesting how they've found the time for paid DLCs but not to make the game run even remotely decent. Insane how on Xbox One X it'll run and look like a regular indie Xbox One title by reaching 30fps and a decent resolution. Too bad because the game can be fun, but it runs like any Early Access game still.

A game running in 640p resolution on PS4. Would have never believed that if someone told me that at the beginning of this generation.

People are defending this stuff in this thread? Unbelievable. No wonder so many developers can get away with selling these kinds of messes.

Only consumers having those standards would force their hand. As long as games with awful performance sell well they will continue to sell them.

Agreed. The problem is that one or the other could always ease standards on a particular game in order to have some brief window of de facto exclusivity. This game is a real mess.
