ARMS Global Testpunch Thread: Let's see if this has LEGS

Do it in warm ups. Relax your wrist when you do it, and be very deliberate, it will be like second nature in no time

I figured it out. Some gloves don't allow you to do it .

Now I really wish the change target button was all the face buttons on the left controller and not just one I have to search for Everytime.

omfg i was about to slam dunk a ninjara and a fucking bomb went off and we both got shocked out of the animation and then he grabbed me immediately on recovery

I LOVE THIS SHIT

I cannot waiiiiit until this is out. It owns so much. Spring Man is really hard to deal with under 25% health. I thought that skill was gonna suck but it's actually pretty good.

Fucking level 5 Hedlock rekt us.

Anyone finding hit detection/netcode/lag a bit off this time around? Felt a whole lot less responsive than the first Test Punch... maybe it's on my end.

man I'm starting to get frustrated by the dumbest inconsistencies while playing
for example:
when I get during my ultimate, I lose it immediately. I hit someone else? they keep it for the full duration somehow. wat
punching through blocks? no, not for you, apparently.
responding quick enough to counter someone? nope, punch goes too slow

Wow. I was so close to beating Spring Man Metalhead (Lv 5) - he won by the clock running out with us both on one last bar of health. Guess I was just a bit lower than him. Not buying the game out of spite now.

lol I just beat someone the exact same way, though I was Ribbon Girl. I was like, "5 seconds left and my sliver of health is two pixels more than their sliver, let's just run the clock" lol

Yeah getting the same thing, noticeable lag were there was none last week. Could just be the time of day, though. Least week I only had the chance to play in the second and fourth rounds, which could have potentially be less congested.

I had some really close games this time around. People are getting better so trying to match them is fun. Ninjara might be my main if I ever buy it.

Tell me your secrets, please. I play aggressively and get utterly wiped by anyone who isn't horribly mismatched in 1v1 because I can never hit anyone.

You can use the little controller-holster for that, I believe.

I just predict the enemy playstyle based on their character while making sure my playstyle is unusual for the character I'm using.

If they have done skill matchmaking for this week then I must have done pretty well last week because I got absolutely wrecked in the first lobby I was in. 2nd lobby was back to about a 3:1 win ratio.

After all the hype I saw very few people go for Twintelle for more than a round or two. Min-Min still seems to be the most popular fighter.

Enjoyed the two new games a lot more than volleyball, and man that boss is tough.

Edit: Just seen that Hedlock has variable levels and its not just part of the name. I was fighting Hedlock lvl 6.
