Army Men-Still Not Dead

Somebody actually decided to fund a new Army Men game, ZOMG!

Heck, with new stuff like this coming out, why should anybody need a next-gen system.
joking aside, it appears to be only scheduled for a Euro release so far, late next month PAL-er's can expect their PS2 and Xbox's to be home to a new invasion of little green men. I haven't been able to find out who's developing it, or much of anything else. The list price is 30 Austrailian dollars, or 18 pounds, so at least it ain't too spendy.

Any takers?

I remember having a lot of fun at my friend's house with the Nintendo 64 Army Men game (I forget the subtitle).

The only system my friend has is N64 so when we're over we'll bust out Army Men for some laughs. Bond and Mario Kart too

It was a great concept destroyed by some awful ideas and execution. War among toy soldiers inside a house is a GREAT idea (I loved Toy Commander), but the Army Men series was mostly godawful 3rd person shooters only different from other godawful 3rd person shooters because of the "toy" characters.

The Air Attack games were consistently pretty decent/good. The problem there was that they had the "Army Men" name on them so most people stayed away. But they were pretty fun. For Army Men games.

the 1st army men64 wow! me and some buddies used to kill tons of time playing that and bond.

simpler times indeed!

not to long ago my son and i have been playing army men R*T*S
which is great and think that this could and maybe should be the direction the series spins off onto with more to it and it could be a winner.

The only good thing about Army Men was the commercial with the 3 chicks with the huge boobiez.
