Visuals looks great and totally possible, and if they can deliver firefights like Gears, in a real-world setting, then this will be great fun.

Even Jack Dark had a better voice, and we all know how bad the voice-acting in PDZ was...AltogetherAndrews said:Sound like normal human beings to me. You know these guys aren't supposed to be gruff space marines, right?

Yep, I think at least the key people at EA Montreal were 'stolen' from UBI Montreal.SolidSnakex said:Didn't EA get several people from UBI Montreal to make this? Not surprisingly, this is being made by EA Montreal.

But really, it kind of feels like a badass/edgy Tom Clancy IP and taken some inspiration from Splinter Cell. It's going in a very different direction than GOW.
There's a lot of 3rd persion shooters/action titles coming.
SolidSnakex said:They've pretty much put themself in a put up or shot up situation after their GoW comments. So they've got alot riding on this game being as good as it appears to be in that trailer. The one thing they're definetly going into the right direction with is how co op focused it is. That's one aspect of gaming that alot of gamers have been wanting more games to focus on.

the dialogue is what you'd expect from teenagers, not paid mercenaries...

This is impressive looking in its own right, but anyone saying this even APPROACHES looking 'better' than Gears, IMO, hasn't played Gears.

gameplay looks promising though
AltogetherAndrews said:This anti-EA crap is really starting to get on my nerves. Sure, the company supplies the market with more than it's fair share of shovelware and barely-updated annual updates, but it's not like that's all the company does. With the way some people talk, you'd think we were talking about Titus or something.

It's remarkable how utterly barren much of the environments are .
This is impressive looking in its own right, especially some of the coop potential it demonstrates in the video, but anyone saying this even APPROACHES looking 'better' than Gears, IMO, hasn't played Gears.
hyp said:great, now "Army of Two" is the GoW KILLLLLLAH. right. some of you guys will do anything to put down a great game.
DSN2K said:looks good, potentially great...but this is what frustrates me about EA they have the man power and budget to make good games why dont they do it more often ?

Whenever I saw screenshots of the characters in this, I portrayed them as monsters (cold, silent, "psychotic", killing machines). I guess Kane & Lynch will feed on that end. Although, I imagine that K&L is pretty different.
