I remember thinking this show was going to get canceled. Every show with a character with my name got cut short (Tobias), and now it's back and with a movie.

Seeing some unfamiliar gifs tells me that I haven't seen every episode. I may need to reactivate Netflix.
the whole series is also on hulu, amazon instant streaming, and msn tv.

Yea right! Haha.. no... but maybe... YES! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! WOOHOOO... nah it cant be true. Nah you are wrong... whatever... but, if it could be true... THEN YEAA! WOOOO

Firefly fans already got their chance, if Serenity tanked it's because nobody gave a damn besides hardcore fans, it's over.

I think it's time to start the show up again. For the zillionth time this year. I hope it's still on Netflix.

It is. The wife and I just watched through the first 6.

Still so fucking clever.

I'm curious...(or should I say bi-curious)...how many GAffers actually watched this show while it was on the air. I wonder how the ratings will fare since the show has spread through word-of-mouth like crazy. Not to mention all the LTTP people that ended up watching it through G4, Netflix, IFC.

I think Netflix would be smart to pick this up. This would be the perfect start for their search for original programing.

I watched seasons 2 and 3 as they aired.

And it tanked.

I call this BS. IIRC Arnett got a new sitcom to lead atm? Also everyone else are doing other things as well.

It tanked because Firefly was the lowest rated show on any of the major 4 networks in 2003 and should never have been given a movie because of strong DVD sales.

And if they focus on one character per episode, it'd be extremely easy to film. Most network show take a hiatus and start production again in July/August anyways. You could easily film in between.

Fuck, Alison Brie is on Community and did 25 episodes of Mad Men already.
