That guy also claims you can only have a maximum of 44 game art entries on the front end. Is that true?
First thing it does is create a backup of the original code. So if all else fails you can always revert back to that.
It's just another menu option. How difficult is it to restore the original code?
It's just another menu option.
The thing to take care with is probably just making sure you have multiple backups of the original kernel.
The whole thing looks simple but convincing the Mrs's is another story. Lol
She's certain I'll brick it and we'll not be able to get another one.
2 questions). Can you play snes roms? Saw someone say yes? If so, how can you play snes with nes controller

Could you remove all 30 and add back the other 29?

Sounds like the 97 games is inaccurate from people who have tested. That guy also claims you can only have a maximum of 44 game art entries on the front end. Is that true?
Do all the dragon quests work on this? would love to play DQ IV on my tv
I've booted them all and they seem fine. But I haven't played them yet.
So happy with this. Got this working and added a bunch of games and got my nes wireless controller from amazon. Can play everything across the living room now- that thing is great too- press down and select and it resets the system so I don't have to push the button in the console- makes having this many games much much nicer now.
Which one is that? Seems like a worthwhile investment.
sounds like you followed the steps I posted before...
Not sure.
Try another USB cable or port? Restart computer and try again?
I wonder if it's possible to inject additional emulators in there? I know the processor is more than capable.
Thing is that the screensaver function cycles through those 30 games and I don't know what that would do to that feature.
I kept this open in a tap with the alarm on. Best Buy got some last week.
This makes this thing incredibly more valuable, and further cements my need for an SNES one.
So this should also work on the Famicom Mini, right?
I tried to run Clusters Method on my Famicom Mini and although every single step seems to go fine and no errors occur, when I hook it up to my TV none of the new games show up...
Any ideas what I might be doing wrong?
Hakchi2 2.05 now includes FDS support. Cluster says the NES Mini already has the bios necessary to run it.
It means it can now load .fds instead of just .nesWhat does that do or mean?

Google Nintendo FDS...What does that do or mean?

Notable FDS games would be Zelda, Metroid, Kid Icarus.
Or you think they would leave a backdoor in because such a "feature" might increase sales? They'd certainly patch this exploit for an SNES one, though of course someone would probably just find a different one.

Loaded Metroid FDS, ran perfectly, even had the extra synth.

Famicom disc system support in US/PAL mini, no other tricks our files required.
Have you tried waiting at least 10 seconds after you're done before disconnecting?
