"oh its better than/as good as 6 year old hardware lawl great achievement" has become the most irritating phrase used in Wii U threads. Why not try to contribute to the conversation instead of regurgitating the same phrase which, sorry, isn't clever and witty, nor new or unique.
Why not discuss the ramifications of what this means, or why? For example, I see it as evidence that the Wii U is in the same ballpark as our current generation (surprise, you would've needed eyeballs to guess this a year ago) but clearly a step above, in that they got a generation spanning engine up to parity for the launch. This holds promise for future PS360 ports more easily being definitive on U.
Or maybe it suggests the hardware isn't as simple as Nintendo made it out to be. Surely a company like Ubisoft should've been able to capitalize on its hardware strengths with all its resources at its disposal. But maybe they didn't consider those resources necessary as there's no chance its useebase will support sales to justify the effort. At the same time, parity and pad features assures early adopters Ubisofts quality towards the hardcore market, and that they're being treated more seriously than we saw from the Wii launch.
But no. Lawlz it can match 6 year old hardware lololol
