Assassins Creed coming on 360 and PC

Why must we continue to do this? All signs point to PS3 first then 360 soon after, like Spilnter Cell. It is Ubisoft, the phrase "console exculsive" is not in their vocabulary.

i have a feeling it's because we all want to talk about the game, and there's not much more to talk about than what we'll be playing it on.

"we make do with what we have"

if those leaked ubisoft game release dates are to be believed, theres a GRAW port for PS3 planned for Nov 2006.......but i dont see anyone here cryin how its "one less reason to get 360".....so then why so much emphasis on a game that we dont even have gameplay footage of?

Because people who post comments like that that are retarded fanboys.

because its good for gamers and good for a new franchise!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When i hear the word franchise i think of mcdonalds.

Assassins creed will most likely be good but there will be 4 sequels afterwards that will totally water down the series thus making the first one forgettable in true ubisoft fashion (here comes the splinter cell fans!)

Why are Xbox fans so desperate for this game?

The PooS is forbidden from getting exclusive 3rd party games! No really, EVERY SINGLE TIME there's an AC thread, xbox fans are the ones that keep bringing the obviously non-exclusivity shit. Insecure total.

Seriously.... but anything's possible, I'll admit that. But everytime some random site we've never heard of says PS3 is losing a game to the 360 it gets a 5+ page thread. It's pretty sad that people have to work so hard to validate their purchase. :lol

It is sad. Certain people will believe anything negative about the ps3, no matter what the source.

Because they won't have to shell out $600+ to play it?

You say that, but perhaps you will end up spending 100 dollars for hte full game (after taxes and marketplace points.)

SolidSnakex said:
Strangely enough, neither will others who wants to play it.

The total amount required to buy a PS3 and this game is $599.20 (including tax). YOU WERE THIS CLOSE TO BEING WRONG. THIS CLOSE!

no, i think he means "troll troll troll"

i'm not sure it's trolling if you ask why xbox fans want this game on xbox360 and someone references the fact that they don't have to buy another console to play it.

granted, i haven't really read a concrete denotation for "troll," but i don't think that's it.

you cant really compare the core 360 and hte core ps3. core ps3 pretty much has the same features (and more?) than the premium 360 right?

You're only allowed 1 game per PS3.

the thread is diverting into another PS3 price discussion. troll enough for me.

For all regular intents and purposes, you're gonna need 500 bucks to buy a Premium 360 plus a game, and 600 bucks to buy a Core PS3 plus a game. There's no escaping it.

There's a $400 PS3 now? THREE SKUS
Then we meet in the middle at $150, or you play it none stop till you beat it.

Sitting close to your non-HD version and your wired controller.

Indeed, unless the harddrive isn't important anymore.

399 plus 60 dollars plus 20 for a play and charge and i guess 50 if you want live

499 plus 60 for the game (it aint gonna be 50 sorry peeps) and yeah i guess thats all you need.
ps3 is more expensive obviously, but it aint that big of a difference.
****, im so glad we can finally say goodbye to memory cards.

You sony fans really are a touchy bunch. One asks why xbox fans want the game so much. Because a lot of people already have a 360? Because their only choices won't be to miss out on the game or pay at least $500 for a PS3? Too bad there are no reverse lobotomies.

If someone jumped the gun and bought one system too early and regrets it now, then it's that person's own goddamn fault. If you can't afford more than one new system, you should hold out until you know which one has the games you want most.

There goes my reason to buy a Ps3

What a chocking turn of events....

I think you meant; "Awesome, now I get to play Assassins Creed too!"
thinking; whew... I'm glad I won't have to troll this one unecessarily

I wouldn't say they are desperate. Just happy that they are going to get the game that beat out all the other PS3 games at E3 and won best of show from 1UP, Gamespot, and IGN. :)

i think you're reading into it a bit too much w/ that comment. So i'll tell you my situation. I got a 360. I want to play Assassin's Creed. I want a Wii and PS3 eventually, however, the PS3, as a console, is simply not worth the asking price...so the longer i can wait to buy one the better. Considering there are only 2 games that i really want to play on it right now (Heavenly Sword/Assassin's Creed), it makes waiting for a price drop that much easier when one of those is announced for the 360.

As an XBox fan I really could care less about the game. But it is fun to enter a thread and watch the hair pulling that's going on.

im the only one that doesnt care about this game! weeee!

I don't really care much since I think they're overhyping Assassins to be the gaming equivalent of baby jesus but it is not, I have never seen people pay that much attention to Ubisoft games before, I'm not into any of their games that much.

Having HDD in every unit is awesome and I'm glad AM2 is already using it for cache for VF5.

So how did you validate the $400 360 purchase?
because it was my primary console. I prefer MS and the Xbox, i also prefer the Xbox library and the online experience...so for me, it was a no brainer.

i understand you prefer Sony's console, and probably their library, so i can respect that. It's just that i don't really want to pay any more than i have to for a secondary console that i would only be playing a few games here and there on. And i sure as hell don't want to pay 600 for it.
