On 11/11 my old i5 with its trusty 1060 finally died - just at the right time.
Got a new PC with a 5080 - heavily incentivized by this game (and by the fact that Capcom still hasn't ported RE7 for PSVR2).
Just playing it casually with a Dualsense in chase cam view (except for night stages - then it's hood cam)
and am enjoying this game immensely, even if it only has 2 tracks at this point.
Playing on a 4k monitor that supports up to 160Hz and has AMD FreeSync.
Game looks crazy good and is mostly smooth but sometimes there are immersion-breaking dips or slight tearing.
Just don't know what are the optimal gaphics settings to use.
If someone has a similar setup (i7 Ultra 265F with a 5080) I'd appreciate if he could share his settings.
I'm looking to get the best possible graphics while having always perfectly smooth framerate (without tearing).
Is DLSS or TLS better? Why is resolution scale set to 95% by default?
Which FPS limit would you recommend (I honestly don't feel a huge difference between 120 and 160 fps)?
Which quality settings are basically unnoticeable if you lower them but give a significant performance boost?
Current settings (all quality settings are at the default of the Ultra preset):
Edit: Ah, needed to unlock GSync-compatibility for the monitor in NVIDIA-Settings:
Huge difference - tearing is gone.
