thanks. im looking for an upgrade to my a700s. astros have that "wow look" factor, but ive never really cared to see if they actually perform. they cost considerably more than the usual recommended pc headphones but i dont know if the price is justified. for me, sound quality is most important. i bought the a700 because of the closed back feature and the supposed better bass than the ad700. but ive since then changed my ear pads to the ad700 pads because now i think i need an open back headphone because i need to hear my wife and kids yelling at me.

That is due to the Mixamp 2013 and Pro being ass when you use the USB to voice chat.

If you plug them in directly, they will be fine. If you have any of those two Mixamps and use the chat cable, you will sound fine too.

Wireless? Current A50s should work, but you will need the chat cable.

You can get the 2013 Mixamp or the Mixamp Pro and the chat cable.

I guess I'm glad I have two 2013s then that work with all consoles thanks to the 2.5mm chat port and the Turtlebeach cable.

I'm really glad I got the 2012 Astros. The wireless mixamp is the best.

I'm currently using the Kingston Cloud X2's and they are really awesome. I think for the price it's the best headset you can get. That being said I've never had a more comfortable headset than my A40's. Audio Quality is about the same on both. You get extra goodies with the Kingston too.

I remember when Gamestop honored those $20 digital codes for Dying Light that were sold as Season Passes, and then sent everyone who bought them Season Passes free. They were super cool about that, even when people were clearly manipulating the system when they found out about it. I know there's a lot of Gamestop hate, and I'm not a huge fan either, but they have been pretty cool about a lot of things. I guess we'll see this time.
